It was entertaining and fun. Also made it easy for anyone who has not read the book to watch without feeling they missed out....little do they know they did because 1. the book is awesome and 2. most of what happened in the movie is not how it happened in the book. While that normally that would bother me there is no way they could have made a movie even close to the book without it being 5+ hours long to really give it justice.

I managed to get this on sale, but it's definitely worth buying even at full price. I do think it's a bit watered down compared to the book. Things are changed a bit, most likely because of copyright issues. The overall movie is still very entertaining and there are so many Easter eggs to look for. There is lots of action and the story is decent.

I’m sure today’s generation will enjoy this movie as a favorite for decades! I read the book prior to the theatrical release and was very excited to see it! The movie version didn’t disappoint! If you enjoy futuristic fun drama, you’ll enjoy this movie as well! Read the synopsis. It’s great for kids of all ages!

As I already have an avatar in the virtual world of Second Life, I could very easily identify with those in "Ready Player One". I also have a degree in Computer Animation and found the finished product (the movie) of exceptional quality and, more importantly, believability! I highly recommend this video for anyone's collection! First To The Egg!

Having grown up in the 80's, this was a throwback to my childhood. So many little things added that I remember in the movie that I can't wait to re-watch it and count how many things I can catch. Picture looks absolutely stunning and the audio is impressive. Worth a watch!

Ready Player One is a great movie and best of all was on sale during Black Friday! If anyone is deciding to purchase this movie, definitely consider the BluRay with Digital Copy. The BluRay really shows off with great resolution within this movie and the Digital Copy is a nice option when wanting to watch this movie from a mobile device!

Ready Player One is one of my favourite books, so I was very excited when the film came out. Overall it is a great adaptation, although I feel some of the finer plot points were lost. However, the result is still a great movie with some awesome visual effects. The 4k of this film really capitalizes on the visuals and it looks stunning.

This was a very fun movie to watch. By far one of the best films I’ve seen in a while! It’s filled with all kinds of pop culture especially from the 1970s and ‘80s. Adults and children alike will love and appreciate this movie. This just might be my top movie of the year!! It’s fun for the whole family. You can’t go wrong with this purchase!

If you a child of the 80s who still digs video games and pop culture, this is the movie for you. Lots of tunes from the 80s mixed in with plenty of 80s nostalgia. And it looks GREAT in 4K. Be ready for lots of "Hey, isn't that xxxx?" when watching this. I saw it in the theaters and missed several call outs to video games through the years.

Came across this the other day at my local Best Buy and was surprised since the website had it listed as sold out. Was slightly disappointed when I saw it on sale a week later for $5 cheaper. Oh well, transfer and audio were spectacular. Will take multiple views to catch all of the 80's references you may have missed the first time.

Finding the key to entertainment is easier than you think, just get READY PLAYER ONE, Steven Spielberg's fantastic adventure. It is filled with nostalgia and amazing special effects, all bind together by a great story. The fact that I could add this to my collection on steelbook format, just makes me more of a nerd. But I'm happy about it.

Watched this on my Sony 900 series HDR 4K tv along with my Sony UBP-X800 4k Ultra HD Hi Res Audio Blu Ray player and this movie was almost better than being in the theater. The black levels on this tv are insane and this movie was fantastic on it. Would recommend to anyone that loves fantasy or sci-fi. Classic Speilberg at his best.

This has to be a favorite movie of mine. I can't remember anytime when a movie of this magnitude was made. There is so much to see that i had to watch it twice to see all the things that went on. I especially liked the Delorean which I was not expecting in this film but was glad about it. This is a movie for gamers and movie fans alike!!

Quality of the product is fantastic. Loved the movie. For those that complain the movie is drastically different from the book, I say “Of course it is.” There is no way the movie can stay 100% true to the book. The book contains too much information that doesn’t translate well on screen. Spielberg did a great job with this movie.

I wasn’t too sure about this movie based on the previews but I was wrong. This movie was amazing full on nostalgia if you grew up in the 80s and 90s. Story line is great and the graphics are fantastic. I really enjoyed this movie and made me realize how amazing my childhood was. This movie will definitely bring back some memories.

Decent movie as far as plot if you like video games. A lot of 80's and 90's movie and video game references. But really you should buy this movie to test out how good you sound system is especially if you have Dolby Atmos. The car race scene is one of the best demo worthy scenes.

Another one of my favorite movies- not for the fact that it is good...because it isn't necessarily an amazing film, but the pop culture references and action alone makes it worth buying. Add in that 4K clarity and Dolby Atmos sound and it is a must buy for black friday prices!

Engaging story, wonderful visuals, perfect casting, exciting, thought provoking, and a wonderful celebration of everything geek from the 80s with so many visual references that you could watch it a hundred times and still find something you hadn't seen before. But with Steven Spielberg in the director's chair, what else could it be?

I had originally owed the 3D version and decided to take the plunge and get the 4K disc. What mainly set this apart from the Blu Ray release is the HDR treatment which produces better highlights and darks. A sight to behold in the Oasis. I highly recommend this for your collection.

I loved the novel by Ernest Cline, so I was apprehensive that the movie wouldn't hold up or would incorporate too many changes. On the whole, both novel and film left me with similar feelings of nostalgia, and if anything the visual effectiveness of the film was impressive, given the scope of the novel. If you're looking for a film nostalgic for the 80's, with fun Easter Eggs to find, and a compelling futuristic premise, you may enjoy "Ready Player One."
