Great movie, had to watch it twice over the weekend to catch all the pop culture refs thru out the movie and im sure i still missed alot. Never read the book but i'm going to since I enjoyed the movie. My wife wasnt really interested seeing the trailer but enjoyed and loved the movie just as much as I did. Plus lots of bonus features.

A visual museum of gaming and film from the past 4 or 5 decades or so. Steven Spielberg managed to cram so many Easter eggs and references to please all age groups! This film is wonderful! It’s like VR chat, but with competitions. To see so many of my favorite characters brought me much joy. Nothing wrong with it, solid 5/5 stars!

This movie brought back so many memories. Not only with video game references, but with music as well. So many classic songs that made this movie that much better. This is heavy on the CGI, but honestly was just plain fun to watch. The book is also pretty good if you care to read/listen to it.

A future dystopian in a mostly VR world created by Steven Spielberg. The main plot involves teens on a quest to claim control of this world before an "evil corporation" does. As mentioned before this film includes a lot of reference to 80's culture. Extras on the making of this movie are available for the DVD, Blu-Ray and HD Blu-Ray.

When I first went to see this movie at the theater I did not have high hopes for it. I am a sci-fi junkie, so of course I gave it a chance. I was blown away by the special effects and the storyline. When I watched it a second time when I bought the video, it just re-affirmed what an entertaining movie it was. I highly recommend it.

Ready Player One is not exactly like the book, but that's okay. Some things had to change in order for it to play out well as a movie, some things they couldn't get the rights for and that's just life. The book's author was involved and with his blessing the movie turned out great. Amazing visuals and soundtrack too. Get it in 4k.

Best movie ever! I love the Blu Ray option for this fun filled movie that I discovered while on a flight. I have watched it 10 times. Stephen Spielberg directed... all you need to know. Give this movie a chance, and it is family friendly for the most part for age 10 and up.

It’s a fun movie. The 4K visuals look good and the atmos audio sound great. The “racing” scene is a great audio test for anyone’s system. I’m giving 5 stars because I think it’s a good to own 4k, especially if you have a mid/high end audio system or are a fan of the movie.

The film is a pop culture explosion. It brings back elements of the 80s with a story and characters that feels like they belongs with ET, Goonies, and Stranger Things. Technically, the film looks great in 4K. The digital copy works with Movies Anywhere which means it will play in 4K on the Apple TV, Amazon, or Vudu service.

I'm going to preface this by stating that I did not read any of the books. Going strictly by the movie that I saw it was quite entertaining. While the pacing should have used some fluff with the individual trials, I appreciated that the entire story was succinctly covered in a single movie making for a great experience.

If you really enjoy pausing frequently to try and catch all of the pop culture references you'll love this. Otherwise, you might feel like you're missing on something.

We initially rented this movie from Google movies and both me and my kids loved it, so I ended up buying it. Good action and entertaining movie, plus it has good graphics. I wouldn't recommend paying full price for it, but for the price I paid while it was on sale, it was worth the purchase. I would recommend this movie.

A little thin on story but a visual delight especially for those who grew up in the 1980s. The movie requires several viewings to catch all the references throughout.

This movie is better than the book, which I that was pretty pedestrian scifi. Spielberg is a genius. He turned a pulp novel into an entertaining and exciting movie. Ben Mendelsohn hits a high note as the evil CEO Sorrento, but the whole cast is great with excellent visuals and soungs.

Movie was extremely fun and will hold your interest. As with most movies the plot is pretty straight forward but all the easter eggs will make you watch this movie over and over. Great 4k transfer, Dolby Atmos is a little anemic, but sound quality was still great. Get your pause button ready and find all the hidden characters.

This is a fascinating film from steven speilberg is a true advancement of CGI ability in creating virtual reality! And the story holds up as well. The bonus material is what makes the BLURAY version a real keeper! I think I enjoyed the behind the scenes and extra features more than the film itself!~ Definately a keeper!

I recently finished reading the novel Ready Player One and fell absolutely in love with it so I did a blind buy and ordered the exclusive SteelBook. I just finished watching the film about a half an hour ago and highly enjoyed it but it is loosely based on the novel. If you have read the novel and have yet to see the film just expect things to be alot different. With that being said it is still a very good movie and I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 solely on the major differences between film and novel.

This movie exceeded my expectations. Spielberg is in top form. I laughed...i cried...and i became a child again. If u grew yp in 80s or 90s...this movie will hit a chord of nostalgia that must experianced. Ive watched it 4 times and im still seeing things ive missed before. And the 4k picture is the best ive ever scene. Wow.

After all these years Steven Spielberg still has it,this is a visually stunning awesome story.Once i watched it i was hooked,i had to get it on 4K,,even better than on TV.Young or old,im in my 50s,you will enjoy this movie and refreshing story line,plus is a very nostalgic throwback to the 80s,a 5 star flick for sure.

I geek out every time, I watch Ready Player One! Bought the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy for $14.99 and I couldn't have asked for a better copy after ordering for pickup from the Terre Haute location. Ready Player One makes the kid in me come out, has that special movie magic that will last a lifetime in movie lovers hearts!
