This movie was great on my tv as it was on the movie screen. I thought I just bought the regular blue ray version, but was surprised to find out that it came with the regular dvd version and the digital version. I haven't downloaded the digital version yet but wiil soon.

Great movie to test a home theatre! Even if your guests aren’t into this kind of movie the surround sound will suck them right in. They will describe how clear your picture will be even if they don’t know they are watching 4K.

Another Steven Spielberg classic. This original is highly entertaining. It takes place in the future where the world is consumed by virtual reality. A group of friends team together to attempt a series of challenges with high risk and reward. A great movie from start to finish.

This is a demo worthy 3D disk, very comparable to the best animated movies. The live action footage occasionally isn’t quite as deep feeling, but it’s never distracting and is mostly well done in terms of 3D as well.

My all time favorite movie ever. If you are looking for something action packed and so much more with adventure then please check this out.

Who hasn't seen this movie yet? It's obviously must see even if you don't care for futuristic movies. A lot of people dont like the theme of the movie because it's virtual reality and unrealistic. However, suspending your disbelief this maybe the best movie of the year.

I was looking into a movie that the whole family likes to watch without getting into boredom and "Ready Player One" fit the bill. The storyline context encompass your realm and question the path humanity will take in the future. Overall, this is a good movie and good actors.

This is a review of the video quality - not the content. Not all animated films are better in 4K. I read reviews on the blu-ray website before deciding on 4K or blu ray. This 4K was rated 5 stars for video quality. The saturation, black levels and clarity are amazing!

This movie pleasantly surprised me. I thought it was going to be your typical corny video game movie with too much animation in it. However the writers incorporated such a real factor into a fantasy world in such a great way that I believe its great for children and adults.

Best Buy wouldn't shut up until I reviewed this. It's a wonderful movie, though. Great for children or even adults that grew up in the late 80's/early 90's and enjoyed video gaming. Looking forward to sequel! NOW SHADDUP BEST BUY

If you grew up in the 80's and 90's or you love pop culture this movie is for you! Speilberg has made an amazing movie that a lot of people never thought was going to be possible given the tremendous amount of varying IP characters. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie.

This was a blind buy during Black Friday. It was an ok movie. I’m glad I got to see it, but also glad I didn’t pay full price.

I loved this movie from beginning to end I've just never thought I could relate to a movie as much as I do in this. I'm a big video gamer and love the culture we have have and this movie hits so many great moments where it hit me either in the feels or right at home.

Fun movie, fun ride! Don't expect oscar performances or a thrillingly new type of movie...but do enjoy the surrealism, the metaphors for confronting our reality of government/corporation domination and the people overcoming and reconnecting to ourselves and each other type of moral philosophies. If you love video games since Atari...BONUS. More video game than action for sure, but the beautiful CGI will keep you happy perhaps.

This is a great family movie. It had elements that appealed to anyone. Further, I was expecting this to be only the Blu-ray disk bit was pleasantly surprised to see the digital download card as well allowing me to have this while traveling.

Great movie. Always watch when on TV no matter how far it is into the movie. Finally broke down and bought. Glad the book is coming out for the second chapter. Hopefully they make a movie and it is as good as this one was.

I never read the book but I gotta say this movie is really well done. I love all the references and different things they added in to the movie. I feel like you would need to slow down the speed in which you watch it to enjoy every little easter egg they dropped in there.

The amount of intellectual property rights that the producers got approval for to make this movie was mind boggling. There were so many video games and movies in the 80s and 90s that was shown in one way or another. The quality of the movie in Ultra HD was amazing.

Layered with inside jokes and sly references that will appeal to a wide range of viewers, "Ready Player One" is a smart, funny thriller that both celebrates and critiques online culture with wit and charm. There is no limit to the minute references throughout the film.

Spielberg, Cyclops and James Halliday. It’s a pretty close adaptation and features so many pop culture references that you’ll be sure to find your favorite among them. Let’s hope there’s an oasis in the future for all of us..
