This movie is a great throwback. It's about an Easter egg in a game, but the whole movie is an Easter egg. Especially if you grew up through the eighties and nineties with video games. Even if you didnt, it is a fun movie.

I was unable to see this movie in the theaters and I recently bought a 4k UHD player. The picture quality in this movie is incredible, and this has quickly become one of my favorite movies. It has a lot of 80's/90's pop culture, which is what I like.

If you like action, this is the movie for you! If you like Sc-Fi, this is the movie for you! If you like animation, this is the movie for you! If you like a really good story, this is the movie for you! If you like movies, this is the movie for you!

This is a great movie for both gamers as well as old school movie people! I really enjoy all of Steven Spielberg’s work. This movie is not as good as the book but still a really good movie to own! Plus this was an amazing buy for Black Friday!!

Books are always better than the movies. This is no exception. The movie plays much differently than the book and, to be honest, this is all about geeking out on nostalgia. Not everyones cup of tea. If you are a fan of pop culture, were/are a gamer, a movie lover etc, this is full of so many cameos and references it's a virtual Smorgasbord.

Spielberg's best film in years! Even if you've never played video games, the pop culture surprises from the 70s - 90s is unreal. A really fun movie that harkens back to the days when Spielberg use to make fun and exciting movies. Highly recommended.

This movie is just a lot of fun to watch. it's very entertaining with a great story, fun characters, and great CGI. If you're a fan of pop culture from the 80s-90s you'll love all the references in this movie. I would highly recommend picking it up.

While sitting on my couch and wear my I ❤️ Spielberg shirt, I was as fully emerged into this movie as a fat guy in the buffet line. This movie was so great that I think I changed my way of thinking about my life and I’m going to spend the rest of my life to turn this movies storyline into my new reality...

I am a huge fan of the book. My favorite book and I read a ton. The movie cannot possibly contain the entire book, and there are many differences to be sure. But I really liked the movie, Steven Spielberg always puts out quality. Very entertaining!

I did not get to see this when it was in the movie theatres. Both my son and daughter said I would love it, so I bought it as soon as it was available on Blu-ray. I grew up in the ‘80s and I really enjoyed this movie. Maybe more than my kids know.

If you're a gamer, sci-fi movie lover, or flat-out geek, this is a must see movie. It had all the references from old movies to new games. The movie itself was a giant Easter egg that they tease throughout the movie. Well made and highly enjoyable.

A great movie with spectacular special effects in 4K format is a delight to watch. The storyline is great and keeps you thinking while watching it towards the end. A great collection for your library.

This is a fantastic adaptation of Ernie Cline's book by the same name. I have thoroughly enjoyed this film several times. I'm sure I'll enjoy it several more times in the future. And I'm really looking forward to the sequel, "Ready Player Two".

Ready Player One is my favorite stand alone novel of all time. I had high expectations for this one and wasn’t disappointed. There were some differences but they’re welcomed changes and needed to be done for pacing. Highly recommend this one.

This movie is amazing!!! It was cool to see how obsessed they were to find a key but it was a nice out come with tons of action. The big fight scene if you wanted to you could probably pause it just to see all the characters you grew up with

Exactly what you would expect from Steven Spielberg. Plenty of excitement coupled with some great nostalgic references that would make any person who lived through the 80's get a laugh at remembering those times. Definitely worth the watch!!

This was a good choice for a 4k movie. The picture was great and the sound quality was amazing. My Only gripe is that the 4k version of the movie would freeze in the same place EVERY single time. Not sure why but other than that great movie.

This starts out a little slow and is geared more towards the younger crowd, worth sticking around for the ending

Sound was awesome. Video i had to watch in 1080p because the JUNK Sony 4k player i bought from BB, does not do dolby Atmos, but my 10 year old Oppo does it fine. Id love to see it in 4k one day.

My husband and I grew up in the 80’s and it was so much fun to see all the different characters that were included in the story. Our kids loved the movie too! We have seen it several times since we bought it. Definitely recommend it to everyone!
