I didn't think I would like this movie as much as I did. It had a fun story and excellent video. I watched it on a 65" 4K tv and 4k blu-ray player, also a really good surround system. That made for a great time.

This movie is really good so I was excited to see the 4k version. It looks really good, but I don't think that it is a reference-quality disc. I am not saying that it is bad, it looks really good, but it is not much higher than the standard Blu-Ray. But if you are a mega-fan of the film this is the best that it looks so far.

I bought it for my daughter she really wanted to see it so she said it was a great choice she loved it and said it’s great now I have to see

Ready Player One is a great movie. Although there are vast differences from the book, they have done a good job adapting the film from the book. Also, the steel case is pretty cool. Paint on steel case can chip easily, so be careful with it.

I purchased the 4K verison to get the most of the movie and it was well worth it. A must own movie for any person that loves high quality sounds with awesome soundtrack, colorful action and a cool story line. Can’t wait to read the book!!

Good fun movie, a lot of nostalgic 70s, 80s and 90s references to pop culture, music and movies. Kids thought it was weird but funny that i could rattle off almost everything they didn't recognize.

Ready Player One is a really fun and creative adaptation of the inventive, pop culture referencing novel. The movie changes quite a few key moments from the novel that may upset book fans, but those who aren’t familiar with the source material will be utterly entertained. Well directed, with amazing CGI effects, this is fun movie for all ages.

I read the book and also watched the movie. In my opinion the movie was definitely better than the book. The book was good but the changes made for the movie were definitely an enhancement to the story overall

Very much enjoyed this movie when we saw it in the theater. I am the "non-gamer" Mom with 5 kids all of who game on some level. But I liked the movie enough purchase it so it can be enjoyed again & again.

I really enjoyed this movie. Great movie and amazing special effects. The picture and sound quality are amazing. I bought the 3d version which was available for a short time only from Best Buy. Definately worth the pre-order to get the 3d.

So obviously there is a lot of the movie that is changed from the book. That being said the overall core of the movie is still there. The fun 80's throwbacks, the nostalgia, excitement and just over all fun.A must have in every collection.

The book is amazing, do yourself a favor and read it. It’s a book that appeals perfectly to today’s young generation, I know because my 14yo son (who hates reading) read the book in a few short days. The movie I also enjoyed especially seeing the 100’s of 80’s characters throughout the scenes together, really cool for us dads to see what we grew up with mixed into a modern movie.

Ready Player One is visually stimulating and you really feel like you’re in the VR. Tons of video game pop culture references. An interesting narrative on potential future market economies as labor forces shift.

Wow. I never saw this movie at the theaters nor really heard of it. I made the purchase based off of reviews and am glad I bought it. Love all the references that the movie makes as well as the games that I grew up. Great underlining message

If you enjoy adventure movies and lots of nostalgia mostly from the 80's and 90's with other generations crammed in; then you will enjoy this movie. The writers took their time rewriting the entire story to be more visual and making it more for any type of audience. I love that this particular item comes with three different formats so I can enjoy the movie wherever I am.

I found the movie odd to watch, hard to follow but my kid likes it. $6 it's worth it. Great stocking stuffer!

Although the book was geared towards the 80s baby the movie doesn't disappoint. It's a non-stop adventure from beginning to end. 4K makes a huge difference on the home TV. Your speakers will rumble the house. A great buy for a great price.

As a movie, it was fantastic. I tend to judge movies based on the movie, not the source material. The book has many great nuances that you couldn't translate well into a couple hour movie. The movie though, on movie standards is great.

Great movie - surprisingly entertaining. The 4K picture quality and sound quality are exceptional. If you have a HT system - this movie is great demonstrating how good your system can sound.

A great purchase for people that want to a higher quality picture and having the added bonus of getting a digital download included with bonus features so you can watch your favorite movie anywhere on any streaming device that you use.
