Clarifying I didn't read the book, but enjoyed the special effects, pop culture references (being an old guy there really is some ancient references here...LOL!), and a solid closing with a lesson regarding losing touch with reality!

Absolutely a must watch if you haven’t seen it. The steelbook design is stunning. Definitely the edition you want to own. Steven Spielberg has out done himself. So many Easter eggs to look out for. A throw back/love letter to the 80s

First and foremost, this is a great movie. 2nd, I would just like to point out that Elon musk is actively trying to make something like this movie a reality. It's really scary and exciting at the same time.

I long awaited this movie release. It was based upon a great book. The movie makes some changes, but it still makes for a good ride. The director should have added more of this own movie references, but I love the car race sequence.

I love this movie! The book in which it is based on is so much better than the movie, but the movie is still very good! If you like all things 80's pop culture, you'll love this movie!

I don't know why anyone would not like this film. Top it of with 4K and you'll be in for a treat. The video quality is far superior to the movie in a theater. You'll only be disappointed if you aren't a fan of the story line.

What an Awesome Movie. Although the movie is not quite the same as the book, all the key elements are there. I would have been impossible for the screen version to include all the video game references and back stories. Great movie.

4k HDR (2.8k master), projected on a 120" screen, looked fantastic. If you have Atmos, don't forget to select it from the main menu! We enjoyed the story, the pacing was good and was a pleasant adventure from start to finish.

Fantastic movie. And to answer many peoples’ questions, while the 4K one does not advertise the digital download on the outer package, it does come with a Movies Anywhere code inside.

This was a surprisingly good movie. Didn’t pay much attention to it when it was in theaters but read decent reviews and bought it on sale. Definitely worth watching. Great story. Great visuals. Can’t wait for Ready Player Two!

This latest outing from Mr. Spielberg is an adaptation of Ernest Cline's novel of the same name and it delivers in wonderfully detailed ways. Like Mr. Cline's book, it is a homage to Pop culture which includes some highly imaginative scenes that are both dazzling and highly entertaining. I found myself chuckling at the many film references. Cinephiles will rejoice!

The condition of the disc was great! No issues! This is one of my favorite movies so it’s good to be able to view it at any time even without internet access.

Ready Player One is a great movie for all ages but especially if you grew up playing games from the 80's and up. Excellent graphics in 4K and the sound track is spectacular. There's a really good reference to reality in there too.

I was first introduced to this on a road trip with a friend who had it on a audiobook. I loved it and I was looking forward to the movie. I highly enjoyed the movie and Steven Speiberg did a great job. Graphics were awesome.

This movie was all for me. As a child of the 80’s and having read the book I was so very excited for this movie to say the least. They did a great job with only minor changes from the source material. It looks gorgeous in 4K!

Ready player one may have been advertised as a bunch of nerds sitting in a room and throwing in all of their favorite characters from pop culture for pure "wow" factor. Ultimately what you get is a basic but entertaining film about a kid struggling to figure out his life. Though a very basic story at its core, the film is a great watch for anyone of all ages.

Another great 4K addition to add to the collection! Absolutely fantastic audio track and the 4K HDR picture is breathtaking. If you are a fan of games and VR this movie is a must have.

I grew up in the 80's and it was so much fun finding all the references. The picture and sound are great. I have watched this movie multiple times and love to find new things that I missed.

There were many plot changes from the book, but I found distancing my expectations allowed for an enjoyable movie with fantastic special effects, music, and easter eggs. i always enjoy buying movies from Best Buy, as the staff in my location is always there to chat about movies even if its nothing something you plan on purchasing. Can't go wrong with Blu-ray!!
