Spielberg, Cyclops and James Halliday. It’s a pretty close adaptation and features so many pop culture references that you’ll be sure to find your favorite among them. Let’s hope there’s an oasis in the future for all of us..

I am disappointed that 3D movies are getting harder to find. I was very excited to see this movie was available in 3D. It makes it so much better. I think 3D is the way this movie was intended to be watched.

A little bit Pixels without the alien concept crossed with National Treasure in virtual reality world. A lot of fun and probably my favorite movie of the year. And as a person growing up in the 80s and 90s it’s pretty cool to see the old nostalgia mixed with the new,

I enjoyed the story base . The characters where fun to watch the simulators. The colors where also eye catching . The cgi was captivating and exceptional well done. Sound was great too!! The plot was good to follow too!! It was fun a dvd to wait for, Thank yo to all

At first I didn’t think I would really like this movie when I seen it at the theaters. But ever since I couldn’t wait for it to come out on 4K. The packaging, content, sound and picture are awesome. My boys and I really enjoy watching this movie over and over again.

Heavily edited down from the book is here stripped to the bare essence and loses much. Just a lot of well made action scenes.

I give this the 5 star rating for the cinematography and digital imagery that leaves you wanting more. The story was good but could have been great, however, does not detract from all the eye candy keeping the mind engaged.

This movie made me a kid again! I found myself laughing and pointing at the screen every time a 80's or 90's reference pop up. The best part of it later explaining all the jokes and reference to my kids. It doesn't hurt that its directed by Spielberg. Awsome movie!

This movie is a fast paced adventure that has tons of pop culture references. The special effects are the highest quality. The acting is well done. If you like pop culture from the 80s and 90s you'll get who this movie is for.

Ready Player One is one of those films that you just have to experience to truly enjoy it. Great references and fun tidbits to enjoy. If you're a movie fan then you'll find something to appreciate with this film. Nice steelbook packaging, good 4k image. Recommended

I walked in not having read the book with relatively low expectations. I walked out a fan. I started reading the book after watching the movie and I love learning more about this incredible world. If you're a fan of 80s pop culture of video game/geek culture you'll find things to love in this movie. It's not Shakespeare by any means, but you'll walk away feeling good and probably wanting to play a video game.

Ready Player One is a movie about gaming and man it was totally out of this world. Spielberg is a legend no doubt but I didn't expect a masterpiece like this even from such a legend who is 71 years old 4K is Awesome

Ok, if you are a on-line gamer you will like this movie, If you like 80's stuff you will like the back ground stuff as you are in the mind of the guy who developed this game, and see what he was feeling, what was important to him and how he applied it to the game.

I like how this movie shows that people don’t look the same in “real” life compared to their “digital” persona. Also how it warns people not to trust based on “digital” looks, and how it presents ethical dilemmas to a movie that my children still want to watch.

Awesome 4K family flick. Although I don't have kids, I think they would have enjoyed this movie for sure. The eye candy is really special. I would say this is a great flick to buy in order to show off a 4k setup. I know my wife was impressed how great it looked.

I didn’t know what to expect from this movie because I never read the book but it was very entertaining and visually just stunning. I am not usually a sucker for the packaging a product comes in but the metal box is cool and fits the vibe of the story. Great but.

I liked this gaming movie and so did the whole family. It’s probably enjoyed more by those who like gaming and adventure but don’t appreciate graphic violence. It’s appropriate for middle school ages and up. Somewhat predictable but still a feel-good movie.

For the graphics and illustrations I would suggest blue ray to be sufficient enough. Having 4K doesn't really make much more of a difference. Unless you get the 4K on sale or just need to have it on 4K, just get the blue ray. As for the actual movie, it was okay. A lot of nostalgia for the older generation. It seems like they rushed through the story to try to fit as many pop culture references in as possible.

I was elated throughout majority of the movie. It was like watching my childhood on the big screen!! It was a pop culture collage!! The movie itself more or less followed Willy Wonka, but the world in which it lived was both visually stunning and immersive!
