This is a great movie. I do wish it came with digital version as some of the reviews mentioned, but it did not come with the digital version.

I don't know how it compares to the book, but it was a fun, nostalgic experience. A good mix of current technology and all of the pop culture I grew up with. It was much better than I expected it to be.

The amount of references to pop culture in this movie makes it one of the most pause-worthy films to own at home. You'll be seeing new stuff every time you watch it.

This is one 4K disc I knew I had to have. I read about the excellent PQ and AQ and I couldn't of been more pleased w/both. High Recommendation!

Love this movie! The nostalgic parts of the movie from the 80s and 90s are amazing! Storyline is great and enjoyable fun that brings the audience on a hunt for the treasure! The digital animation is smooth!

Impressed. The visuals were top notch, what I have to come to expect from Spielberg. The storyline was believable and acting wasn’t bad. Was a great film to spend time watching. It brought me back to the good years of childhood and playing video games with my brother.

And this did better than I expected interpreting it. There were some scenes I would’ve liked to see in the movie and I definitely feel the book was superior but this movie did okay. Well worth the watch.

This movie, based on the book of the same name, is a fun ride. Filled with pop culture references, it keeps you focused on everything happening on screen (even in the background). My only complaint is the lack of character progression and development. While the world was fun, I didn't have a reason to care about the characters.

This is a movie that brings me back to my childhood with all the 70's, 80's, and 90's references. I challenge you to sit down with a pad and pen, and write down all the old pop culture references you see.

I know that once a novel is scripted for the screen it will not be an exact transition from novel to movie. This is very little like the awesome novel, but keeps allot of the underlying symbolism of what was in the novel. All in all I enjoyed the movie, but wished they were able to fit more of what was in the novel into the movie.

Bought this movie because I loved the book and after seeing it at the movie theater, it was incredible. Noticed there were a lot of Easter eggs I missed out on at the theater that now I can pause at home.

Have seen twice at an I Max and 4 or 5 times through on demand channel. I usually buy videos when they go down in price (5 dollars or less). I bought this one and have watched it three times already.

This is such an awesome movie. I watched it online and loved it so much that I bought it. Then I realized it was one of my son’s favorite movies!

This movie was such a great movie. We had family night one night to watch this and I hadn't seen it but kept hearing how great of a movie it was. Spielberg KILLED it with this one!

Spielberg does it again by directing the former book turned movie Ready Player One. From the great storytelling to the amazing visuals, the 4k version is the way this movie was meant to be witnessed.

This virtual reality movie is set in the year 2045. Trailer park ghettos with trailers stacked on top of each other in a crude framework depict the future USA and everyone's desire to escape reality.

I was surpised at how much i enjoyed this movie. Some movies i have seen in theaters and want a copy..this movie i only saw previews and wanted to see. I really was surpised at how much i enjoyed it.
