to have a back-up battery. Although you can find off-brand batteries for less money I always feel more comfortable purchasing the manufacturers items.

In the pass I have bought after market battery's and found that my pass camera ( Canon 77D) doesn't recognize them. ( Warns of them being counterfeit and may not preform as wanted) So in my opinion its not worth the risk to not using the OEM battery.

I bought the Canon battery after using an after market battery that was cheaper. The other brand started out find, but over time didn't hold a charge as long. I also didn't want to risk damaging my camera with a "knock off" battery. Buy the Canon and give yourself peace of mind.

You have to go with the original guys. I know there’s a lot of options out there but trust me, battery life is what it’s supposed to be, and that is great! Plus the camera recognizes the battery and provides you with the charging level at all times.

I bought this battery for a spare. Right now, there are no third party batteries available for the Canon LP-E6N which is made only for the the Canon 5D Mark IV. The Canon 5DM4 will probably last about a half day with regular use, given you don't have Wifi or GPS on at all times. So a spare battery was a must for me. I've read some reviews which say the LP-E6 batteries will work on a 5DM4, but it will lose some performance. The battery is of Canon brand quality batteries which also means its 69.99 plus tax [ouch]. But there are't many options available yet.

I bought this as a replacement for my back up battery. I've tried another brand battery for back up and it died (quit working, won't charge) before my factory original. I won't buy anything but Canon batteries now.

The battery is a perfect replacement! We misplaced ours and needed something quick. It was PERFECT!!

I always like to stick with authentic batteries. Why buy an expensive camera and then put a cheap battery in it? It’s expensive but it’s 100% worth it in the long run.

Salesperson sold me the wrong camera battery. Other than that, I’m sure it’s a fine battery. ;)

I needed an additional battery and decided to buy the same one that came with the camera. I was surprised to see the price was better online so order and did store pick same day.

This is a very good battery made by Canon. I got this as an extra battery for my Canon EOS R, but it also works in my 5D Mark III. You can not go wrong with this. Two thumbs up!!

Always nice to have a backup battery. When shooting at your son's soccer game and your battery dies, not a great place to be. The backup or extra battery is always good to have.

Purchased as a replacement for canon 6D camera. Tends to fare better than other brands

Its a camera battery. I wish the price was a bit less as this is a bit much for what it is....

Not much to say about a battery other than it works just fine when my first battery dies.

This battery is very user friendly. I like that it has a yellow cap that you can arrange to help you determine when it is charged or not :) works well with my hand grip

It was a good battery for my usage. Price could have been a little cheaper. Check Amazon prices.

Picked up on of these as a spare for my 80D. It's a bit pricey, but long lasting battery.
