Charges quickly but doesn't hold a charge as long as I expected when in standby mode.

It's a decent battery. Not great, not terrible. It does not last as long as I would like it to though.

The battery cost less than I expected. I should have Purchases two of them when I was at the store.

It is the same a the OEM battery. Bought as a spare so I would not miss any shots.

Price for camera was too high, only had for about a year, and battery goes dead. Battery cost about 1/3 of camera price $60... waaay too expensive for a camera. You'd think that accessories would entice consumers to their products, and not drive them away. Been a Sony owner for many years, and now am looking for alternatives. Not only due to this issue, but adaptability issues with mainstream devices (don't get me started on the memory stick...).

It's a camera battery. It does it's job as it should, no more no less

Needed a battery and like the quality of SONY products.

It is good that I had two batteries, as the charge did not last throughout the day while traveling. I had to charge both batteries every night-not an easy thing to do while traveling abroad.

Fits the camera perfectly, charge doesn't hold as long as I was hoping, still have to charge the battery before using the camera.

Camera is only a year old, and battery is already fading. Need a new one to be confident I'll have enough power while traveling.

i expected the battery to last longer, but it only last for one hour

Very useful to have an extra battery when traveling and not close to electrical outlet for recharging original battery.

All of my point and shoot cameras in the past have used AA batteries, so I've developed a fairly good size stock of rechargables, as well as my Duracell 15 min charger. When I bought my new camera I ended up getting one that uses Li-ion batteries, and wasn't sure how I would like them. I feel I can't quite stock up due to the price, but the battery length seems okay. I wish they charged a bit faster though, I was spoiled by my 15 min AA battery charger. They don't seem to die quickly though, which is good, because when I take pictures, I tend to take a lot. I do however like that my camera is thinner now, with the li-ion battery than my old AA battery camera.

The battery lasted a long time, even while taking pictures all day long. I did get an extra battery encase I needed it. It came in handy a few times. It also doesn't take that long to recharge.

My husband & I bought our Sony underwater camera last year to snorkel with on our honeymoon. We realized that we needed an extra battery to take more HD video. So, we bought this extra battery. We are glad we did! It stays charged until you are ready to use it & charges quickly. It also has a long battery life. I took 30 mins of video & about 120 pics or so at my sister's wedding recently & I still had battery life afterward.

I love not having to buy millions of batteries to keep my camera ready to shoot important photos. This is much better. Plus I don't have to fill up the landfill with batteries that I discard.
