This battery is on the expensive side but then again it fits a lot of Sony's cameras so obviously if you upgrade you don't necessarily need to buy a whole new set as long as both models are compatible. I always prefer OEM batteries over aftermarket ones so this was a no brainer for me.

I bought extra battery to have on hand on my trip. I knew I would be taking a lot. Of pictures & didn’t want battery to die. Even though my battery lasted all day, it was gress as t to have another one charged for days where I forgot to charge battery used previous day.

Recommend it for sure. The camera comes with one battery so you should 100% be ready to get this as well with the purchase of your camera

I bought this extra battery as a backup because I was going to be taking pictures in very cold conditions, and wanted to have enough juice for my camera. I am glad I did because I ended up using it. I really recommend this

I would highly recommend OEM batteries such as this one. I wouldn't trust an "aftermarket" battery paired with my camera that costs almost into the thousand range. While I'm sure some aftermarket batteries are good, why chance it when you can get a factory original part that is backed by the manufacturer?

I bought this for use with my Sony A6000. It appears identical to the one that came with the camera. It works much better than generic batteries I have tried-I am able to get many more shots from a single charge. I can’t speak on longevity yet, however as I have only recently purchased.

Since I take pictures during day long events. I decided to purchase 2 of these batteries. I found that the amount of pictures I take, one battery will last approximately 3-4 hrs. So with a total of 3, I have enough power to last for an entire day and into the night.

Excellent brand which I recommend specially if your camera is sony also, dont buy any brand which you don’t have any assurance with that

This battery gives the best performance one can expect from a Sony Alpha camera, it definitely holds a longer charge than non-OEM versions. I wish the battery life was better on these cameras, but you can't really blame the battery for that. This is the one to get if you use a Sony Alpha camera.

I have been using the second batter more often with last minute photography or video shoots where I forgot to charge the battery the night before. A few times I've needed the extra battery to continue with a shoot but not as often. It's just great to have since you never know what the day will call for.

Perfect fit for our Sony A6400 digital camera. Always a good idea to have a spare battery. No need for a charger as you can charge this battery in the camera itself. We only buy manufacture batteries to ensure that they work.

Lightweight camera battery that can last up to 2-3 hours. Charging port can have a delayed charge at times.

I purchased several of these to have in reserve while traveling. They are easy to charge, install, and store. The charge time is reasonable and battery length/power sufficient for 500-600 12mb photos or more. Recommend 3-4 for travels with charger or 5-6 without.

At least one extra battery is a requirement, especially for traveling. I ran it dry on several occasions - just out and about shooting, at the museums, at the concerts. It's small enough to be easy to carry, recharges fairly quickly, and well, what else can i say than you simply cannot shoot without a spare.

I needed a spare battery for an upcoming trip. Over the years, I found that the Sony OEM batteries last longer than third party batteries, so even though it costs more, I bought one. Best Buy matched Amazon's price and shipped immediately.

I spend the extra $ to get Sony brand batteries and they are the best for your Sony camera hands down.
