Extra batteries are a necessity. The actual sony branded batteries last much longer than the cheap aftermarket batteries.

Extra Camera battery is a MUST!!

I do a lot of kid sport recordings on weekends and having a extra battery makes it less stressful when I'm recording. I never have to worry about running out of recording time.

Quality and consistency albeit at a premium. If you bought the premium gear, you owe it to yourself!
