If you think about it, a battery will only go dead when you are using it. The Sony a6000 goes through batteries fairly fast. A spare battery is really needed and will certainly be used it you do a lot of shooting in a day. I have always only relied on factory batteries because of their quality and dependability. Thus, I bought the Sony brand spare battery for my a6000 and I am very happy with it.

Not a lot to say here other than its a quality battery made by the maker of the camera. I find that it tends to get more pictures in a charge than non-Sony brands even at the same mA rating.. Not sure why that is but that seems to be true in general. That said, you will likely end up with both sony and non-sony batteries over time. This one performs as it should and has Sony standing behind it..

It is what it says it is, and does exactly what it promises to do.

Good battery, should be $25 cheaper, could almost buy another lense for the price of the battery

Definitely wanted to have an extra battery for my Sony ZV-E10 and this is the same one that comes with the camera and works perfectly with the outlet charger from Sony !

Chargers faster and last so much longer then the other brands.

I love my sony a7R2 camera, but the battery life is shorter compared to my Nikon DSLR.I wanted a to extend the shooting time (from half a day to the full day) I needed an extra battery, so I got the original battery as my back up and I'm very happy about the purchase - it works exactly as expected. Plus, I'm using the chargers that I already had, so no need for extra spending.

I have had the Sony a6000 for 4+ yrs and the original battery has not been able to hold a charge for an entire day’s worth of shooting. I picked up this original equipment battery for a recent trip and wow I didn’t realize how much my original battery had deteriorated! Recommend getting the Sony battery instead of a third party brand.

When getting a powerful camera this first thing is a good SD card but the second item is an extra battery! I bought this extra battery for my Sony a6000 and I didn't want to go cheap by getting one off amazon by a 3rd party company. Having two batteries is crucial when traveling like I do because you never know when you will have access to power or if so for long enough to get a full charge!

Holds a charge for a long time and charges rather quickly ! I'll be buying 3 more

its a battery. it holds the charge and is small and compact. no complaints.

Wow, what a great battery. Once it's charged up, it literally can go right into your camera and then your camera turns on. One cool feature about this battery is that when it gets down to 1%, you can put it on the charger and it goes back up to 100% after a while. Genius!!

Standard OEM Sony battery, Best Buy was awesome as always

Works great. Compared with several other brands and pleased with the Sony camera battery. Pay attention to the FW or FZ or other, before purchasing as I bought the wrong type for my camera originally and had to return it for the correct model number battery.

Charges quickly. Holds power well. Easily removed and changed.

I spent the extra money to purchase an extra Sony NP-FW50 Lithium-Ion Battery to have just incase my original battery would lose power on me during a week long vacation. I'm glad that I did as I take multiple pictures every day when on a vacation. It was great to have a backup battery to use and not be afraid of not being able to take some memorable pictures.

These little batteries last about 4 hours of hard use. They will last longer if you turn camera off during non use, however, I leave my camera on all the time and just purchase extra batteries. No problems with these batteries. There are third party batteries but some folks are experiencing problems with them....

Battery made by Sony for Sony camera. Lasted several hours under continuous shooting in the cold, in Antarctica. Highly recommend instead of an alternative brand. Well worth the money, considering its dependability.
