What can you say? I hate paying this fee but what can you do?

I understand that the recycling helps to reduce hazardous waste in the land fill but, I hate the fact that I have pay a recycling fee when I purchase TV and another recycling fee when I dispose of it.

Why we have to pay a recycling fee for computers? people recycle the computer parts to make money !

Although the amount is not excessive, I don’t see the need for more taxes.

No one likes to have fees added on to their purchase, especially since that fee has no direct correlation to the purchase made. But that's the law (I think); so I ain't got no say in the matter.

Never used it since I bought it whithout crashing. Lost all my files and pictures. Sent it to Del to have it fixed, came back with the same issues. Waste of money. Don’t buy this junk!!!!!!

Who in their right mind wants to pay $6 for a recycling fee of a product you just bought ?? Another CA environmental fee that goes to programs that can't prove work or improve environment.

The cost for the box if it becomes excessive, I do not think that they should charge it because the equipment you buy is NEW, if it were used, maybe they should charge for the box.

Just another way for Calif to stay in our pockets. Recycling of electronics is best for the rich, the uber, vegans, minimalists .. not for the new working poor nor the homeless.

I don’t think a recycling fee should be charged when buying a new tv. But then again they probably also charge a recycling fee when you dispose of your old tv.

Don't understand this fee when I'm not recycling my computer yet at least and its not a tire which ends up in a field this computer I would donate when its older

What do you say about a recycle fee? We have to pay for it but I think manufacturers should absorb the costs since they are putting the products out.

I think it is terrible that we have to pay a recycling fee. When items are recycled usually you get money back, not have to pay. Just my suggestion/input.

I don't see why we have to pay a recycle fee at the time of purchase. That should be paid when we actually recycle the product. It makes no sense at all.

They’ll do whatever they can to make a dime here and there these days.

If you don't save your original purchase you pay the fee when you discard items too! I don't recommend out, but in CA you can't get around it.
