Nowhere as good as the original, but not bad for a remake.

Really liked the original movie. This was decent enough

Bought it for $3 during the holidays. I think they should have paid me $3 to take it, This was bad....VERY bad.

Opened the DVD when I got home. DVD was scratched. I tried to play it anyhow. Would not go past 25 mins into the movie. Tried to bring back the next day with my receipt. No refund or exchange. This is after I spent $3600 on a refrigerator the same day I bought the DVD. Not worth the head ache. I will not buy another item from Best Buy again.

Original was better but this one is okay for watching when nothing else is available.

The original probably wouldn't win any awards, but it had something about it that worked for the time. This was a poorly done remake with such bad acting I almost wanted to shut it off at times. Find a copy of the original for a better experience.

Totally not fair to compare this version to the original but the North Koreans invading the US could only happen in a video game. Wasted acting by Hemsworth and Hutcherson in this 2012 Blockbuster flop.

Saw this in theaters and liked it so much that I had to buy it. I don't normally get movies but I was curious of the special features. I found them lacking and wish they would have done more. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the movie and thought the story was well worth watching.

I loved the original Red Dawn and watched this one with a little hesitation. But it is great!! It is not the same movie, so do not watch it expecting the cult classic. Watch it expecting a war movie. I loved it

Was a good movie. Did a good job of taking a older movie and making it more modern to appeal to the people of today.
