    This is a great product for GE refrigerators. It makes the water taste a lot better but not quite the same as bottle water, however very close. The perfect money saver.

    filter works great however, it doesn't last the entire 6 month shelf life of what it claims. I get the warning signal to replace after about 4 months and I had to replace it at about 5 months. I think it's kinda BS that these filters are so expensive and GE rigged these so that you can't use the cheaper versions of them bc they add an RFID sticker to it to force you to use features that are useless. But since there's nothing we can do about it, and we're forced to buy OEM filters, it's really getting a 4 star review out of lack of competitive options.
