However, it’s disappointing that the filter automatically signals for replacement based on date instead of usage due to the chip on the filters. We don’t use the water/ice maker but Café has us by the horns for an unnecessary $60 expense every six (6) months for the life of the appliance unless we decide to ignore the little red light on the refrigerator door.
