Which wasn't completed because the water line was to short. I signed off on the job thinking that they were going to return as soon as I made anther appointment once I got a longer water line. I paid for them to install a water line and i expect a return to finish the job. Upon calling the store to make the appointment I was told my job was completed. I was shocked and tried to explain the situation. I asked her to call the men who came to install my refrigerator and they could explain everything. She assured me she would call me back but never did. I have had problems in the past with orders with Best Buy and figured Id take one for chance with you. I am not happy right now about this whole situation. I bought this refrigerator expecting it to get installed the same day. If someone doesn't fix this then this is going to be my last buy from Best Buy. It will be a shame because I still need to replace a stove and dishwasher.

I had left work early to make sure I was there for them. I received a call saying that they running late and would be here a little after five. I called customer service at 6:15 to find out where they were. They finally arrived at 7:20. The water line install was a cob job, I could have done it much better. They never leveled the fridge.

Save your money!

I paid to “Have an Installer quickly and professionally install a new water supply line and shut-off valve” as described. What I got instead was delivery…and nothing else. They did not install anything, claiming to not have the parts with them. I should add that as far as installing a “new water supply line goes,” this job should have been easier that most, as the fridge is located next to not one, but two water sources which were already in place. Nonetheless, they said they could not do it. They said they would contact me within 2 days. After 3 days, I had to reach out to them. They apologized and said they would check on it immediately. All day went by with no response, so I followed up again. They are now ignoring my messages. BestBuy: you really should contract with qualified, prepared, and professional installers if you are going to offer this service. It reflects poorly on you when you take a customer’s money and then farm the job out to unreliable amateurs. Save you money and pay someone who knows what they are doing and shows up prepared.

Very professional

The refrigerator was just installed yesterday so am still running water through it to eliminate any taste from the hose, which is what was recommend. The copper line for the water had a turn off valve that did not work. So the workers moved quickly to turn off the water and install lines with the kit. I would highly recommend these installers. Ice maker is working great.

Attempt to have water line installed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told by best buy that theyd send a crew out on a scheduled date to install a quick water line... prior to, i told the salesman who checked me out for the fridge that i lived in a single family residential built on a slab and explained the location of the fridge. The best buy crew arrived and got irritated that the salesman told me it was feasible....as i knew it would require a more in depth, and intricate install...they said they don't do customized work, just basic tapping a water line and that's it. So the salesmen tend to make promises/tell you things they cant hold up to.

Installation was never done but marked completed

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When the crew delivered the refrigerator 2 months ago, they "accidentally" took the install kit for the ice maker. The install crew arrived shortly after the delivery crew left, and laughed saying that it happens all the time. We were told they would get it and would be back, but they never did. I had thought they just forgot and called a week later and was told I would be getting an e-mail to reschedule the install. I have spent multiple hours over the past 2 months in the online chat and the customer support phone # and each time I'm assured that the issue will be resolved, I can see a new update for the install gets changed to "Redo," but after a couple of weeks it gets changed back to "complete" and I have to start all over again. I want a refund of the water line and the install, but have been told they can't do that. I will never buy an appliance from BestBuy again that requires their installation.

Worst Install Customer Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review is on the horrible Geek Squad third party installer that Best Buy contracted with. First they miss the install window of 8-12, without a phone call at all. I called at 11 to check and the rep said they were on their way. By 1pm I called again and they said sorry they are running late they will arrive around 2:30. By the time they did arrive, I couldn't pay attention to them because I had another appointment at my house (just moved in). That night I noticed a huge ~15" gouge on the hardwood in front of the refrigerator of my new house. Best Buy sent the 3rd party who did the install to come evaluate the damage. The person who came also missed his 1-4 window and came at 8-9pm! He took photos of the huge gouge. Then 3 weeks later a piece of certified mail arrived (addressed from a random person's home) stating that the refrigerator was not in the photo the claim agent took, stated that the damage was nowhere near the refrigerator, and then denied rhe claim. Unreal how Best Buy conducts business, and takes NO accountability for the Geek Squad third party they dispatched. Best Buy, YOU contracted this installer who came to my house... I did not choose to do business with them, so why is this now a situation of me having to hear from an installer who damages homes and can say "not my fault?" Don't get me started on the same experience when I recently bought a washer/dryer from Best Buy, and that installer completely chipped the entire edge of the travertine tiles in my laundry room.

The people who delivered the fridge say the next guys would. The guys who brought my other 2 appliances first said they couldn't and then they said they didn't have time because they had 2 other installations. So I have a fridge with no water.
