Water line installed developed leak.

Had to pay for plumber which has not been resolved along with damage to items in basement. Family had to be relocated since the only way to stop leak was to turn main water valve off. No running water till the next day. Per plumber valve installed was not up to code.

Never Got Reimbursed

They came and I asked them specifically if I will get reimbursed if I did not need it installed. Turns out I already had a water line and did not need the service so they said they will reimburse me. I called them back to double check if they did reimburse and they told me, they did not because I used the service (which I did not). Called multiple times and they just ignore. Terrible return service. Will update if I ever receive my refund.

Install was horrible. Water line great

The delivery people didn’t seem to know what they were doing. There was a ding on the stainless steel door from bringing inside. The actual install of water line was great.

Won't Be Installed if Line is Run through Cabinets

When the ice maker was deliver, they came back to install the line, and now it was not in their forte to connect the line unless a plumber laid a copper line through the cabinets to the tune of $500 on top of the cost of this installation. Basically, if your water line is going to have to be run through cabinets, don't purchase as they will not install it. They will however mark that the service was completed making getting a refund a lot harder.

Filtered Water & Ice

I didn't much care about automating the fridge but appreciate having the filtered water dispenser, and filtered ice cubes. Quick. Satisfactory job.

They were able to problem solve and knew exactly how to get the refrigerator in through a tight space and installed quickly, all while being safe. Highly recommend!

Was supposed to call within a week to reschedule. Never heard and I’ve been calling them - The Install Guys’ and the voice mailbox is full. Called Best Buy 800 number twice - still waiting to hear back. 800 said they left messages trying to get in touch with them to call me. Going on month #2. Would like to resolve.

The job was done quickly and efficiently.I must add it was also done neatly-no mess left by workman! I would definitely recommend BB for any installation I needed.

The waterline was installed by a 3rd party that is used by Best Buy, but they did a great job. They were also finished in a timely manner.

Poor Installation

During the installation, the technician hit a pipe, causing a leak. The repair required many phone calls and emails (they never replied to any of my emails), and three separate visits by a plumber, and 1 1/2 weeks of NOT being able to use my kitchen sink.

Water line not installed tho paid for it.

I paid for water line materials and installation, but I still don’t have a water line. I can’t start the ice maker without it. One end of the line was installed but the other end is not. I’m at a loss to know how to handle this. The installer seemed to suggest the age of my house (1960’s) might be the problem. But I feel this should not prevent proper installation.
