You don't get Geek Squad Agents when for installation. Appliance install continues to be a third party only service, and continues to be a disaster. The installers for my refrigerator couldn't properly install one of the doors and it closed with too much friction. Then they told us it was supposed to be that way. After they left upon close inspection the door was rubbing against the inside of the fridge preventing it from closing. A Geek Squad Repair Agent came out and confirmed they had bent the hinge all out of shape. I had to have the fridge replaced.

I scheduled for my water line to be installed on the 16th, 20th, and 24th of April. It is now May and we still haven’t had anyone come out to install the water line so that we can have ice/water. It’s very frustrating and if I knew how to do it I would have done it myself by now. No one has even called and the last rep I spoke with says that it was marked complete on the 20th but no one has been to my house. The rep before her claimed to have escalated the issue but still nothing has been done. I’m very disappointed in Geek Squad/installation team.

When he arrived he was not able to install the water line. Our house was recently renovated with new apex pipes and he didn’t have the correct equipment. He immediately informed me that it would cost more. I thought that he would inform Bestbuy and they would remove the charge. I waited and the bill was never adjusted. I had to go to the store for them to remove the charge. I expected Bestbuy to be more concern about their customer.

I explained exactly what i had and that a water line needed to be cut in and ran. The checkout guy told me not a problem we can do that. It gets delivered and the delivery guys tell me they cant do that need a plummer to run the lines.

Once the scheduling was successful, the service team for all 3 visits were quick, professional and knowledgeable. We've had no issues since.

0 stars forced to give one. After 4 attempts to have geek squad install a ice maker. Massive leaks no ice no still doesn't work. Numerous calls to Setauket ny store requesting to speak to management never got to. Big runaround terrible service. When they came 4x reading instructions on how to do it I should have known to hire an actual plumber.

Professional, helpfut, patient, kept re-balancing as necessary. They were great. PLUS, THEY SPOKE ENGLISH. AND UNDERSTOOD ENGLISH. Much appreciated Best Buy.
