i cant leave 0 stars or i would, the instal tech wouldnt even come to my home and best buy would only reschedule, they offered no others options to correct the issue of the useless fridge in my dinning room!

To be honest, a terrible experience. Like a lot of people, the shutoff valve for fridge water is just under the fridge through the floor, attached to the basement rafter. Once the installers saw this, they said they could not do anything and had to leave. They claimed that unless the shutoff valve is directly behind the fridge attached to the wall, they are not allowed to hook up the water. They also said they were not allowed to disconnect the old fridge to even haul it away. They said they could leave the fridge in the garage and we would have to call a plumber to set things up the way they wanted or they would do nothing. My wife had to cut the old line and convince them to take the old fridge and then just leave the new one in place. Eventually they agreed, and took photos of everything they did, the line we cut, the valve in the basement—everything. I really need to thank Best Buy for sending people out who feel they have to protect themselves from me. So now we have a fridge and water lines that we must now install ourselves. The installer said that “no one” would touch a water line unless the shutoff valve is right behind the fridge. Well, a friend of mine a few streets over bought a fridge from BEST BUY just last year. His house (and the other 400+ in our neighborhood) has his shutoff valve under the floor in the basement. The BEST BUY installer just hooked it up without saying a word. Imagine that. I will not be buying an appliance from Best Buy again.

After giving up my Saturday for the 130 - 530 window, a crew showed up at 515, complaining about their long work days. Both the passenger and driver had conflicting views on what they were supposed to do (remove doors from refrigerator, move it into house, reinstall doors), they claimed there was a paperwork issue and that they couldnt do anything. Customer support was very poor to correct this telling me that i would just have to reschedule another appointment and hope it worked out the next time. Dont by Best Buy appliances unless you can do the work yourself.

I did and excellent choice for letting them to connect my new refrigerator

Referigerator was delivered on time but as the installers were leaving i questioned them as to cooling time and water filter. They said i could probably transfer food in 5-6 hours and everything was installed and ready to go. Well, 6 hours later we went to transfer food and noticed all of the strapping tape and such still inside along with the water filter still in the freezer door. So we had to spend the next 20 minutes untaping the shelves and such, installing the filter.

Delivery guys. Quick and accomodating. No problems.
