I bought a whirlpool refridgerater in December. The ice maker was clearly defective, making screeching sounds every 30 minutes. I tried contacting customer service to have someone simply come to fix the ice maker. Nope...they apparently didnt have anyone to do that so they had to replace the entire fridge! What?! Fast forward to second delivery...guys first turned off the wrong water supply so left us without hot water. Then they scratched my hard wood floors sliding in the replacemt fridge! And the new fridge has a dent! I had to call them back to the house to fix the hot water issue and to show them the damaged floor. They gave me an "escalation" number to call to now address repairing my floor...they proceeded to place me on hold to "forwrad me to the proper department " only to have to again explain my situation. The agent couldnt find my number associated with the purchase so asked me for my warrenty information! I had to explain that it was about the floor not the fridge this time...she insisted I dig up my paperwork in order to proceed. So, after trying to find the paperwork I was placed on an infinite hold, which ended with me hanging up! Ive never had a more frustrating experience with Best Buy and this whole fiasco will make me think twice about buying from them again. Get your customer service act together Best Buy!

Good buy for what we need. A second refrigerator for the garage.

Fridge works awesome, happy w product. Unfortunately had to wait a week to fully utilize it. Installers did not call ahead of time. They broke a clay structure when bringing in fridge and woke up next morning to a puddle of water, they screwed up the waterline install. Had to call the geek squad to replace the waterline faucet and reinstall waterline. Next time just ordering delivery no install

It is worth it to buy the line from best buy, it has a warranty and it is very very sturdy.

The two installers were great. They made sure I was comfortable with the appliance.

The refrigerator was delivered as scheduled. The installers removed the old unit, with no problems.

Was connected but not ready to use, geek Squad was supposed to have it ready to u hi o (according to Best Buy and associate we worked with). They did not completely unpack internal packing materials…took us about an hour to get it all out then more time to figure out where shelves go and how to install shelving especially the one that has moveable small shelf built in.

I really appreciate how smooth was the service from Bestbuy

Refrigerator was delivered the 1st time damaged and had been laying on it's back since it was loaded at the warehouse due to inoperative lift gate. i told the I didn't want it. They said I would have to schedule an exchange and wouldn't just take it back. 2nd refrigerator also arrived damaged. didn't accept so they wouldn't take the 1st fridge back either. The delivery guys said they told the warehouse about the damage but were told to deliver it anyway. I guess the warehouse guys arnen't worried much about the customer. I called customer service and they said another fridge would be sent out, they said I would receive a call for scheduling. No call received even after days. I callled and cancelled the order because I needed a fridge and had been messing with this for 2weeks. Took 2 more weeks to pick up the 1st fridge and another 3 days of arguing to get cash back. Not impressed at all with customer service either because it was hard to understand the agents on the other end of the line. Also they all used the same lines, almost like they had been trained to respond with c ertain words or they were just reading a script. No more Best Buy large appliance purchases for my family!
