No water yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The installation technician seemed to be in a bit of a hurry and broke the existing house water line while attempting to attach the stainless steel line. The break cannot be repaired and the existing house water line must be replaced.

I paid a hundred dollars for this????
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. Installers left water line leaking at the source. We had water trickling (not just dripping) from our basement window moldings one floor below. I used a crescent wrench to tighten the water connection and leak stopped. Hoping that no mold will grow. 2. Installers did not remove a single piece of tape or plastic from the new fridge. I opened the door and found all shelf accessories bound in plastic and wedged in with tape and styrofoam. Took me 25 minutes to unpack all and make the fridge usable.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had fridge delivered and was told it wouldn’t fit through the door and they would have to have geek squad come out to finish if I wanted the warranty to be good. Paid for them to come back out just to have them take my front door off and nothing with the fridge. That easily could have been done the first time and was forced to pay for delivery when I never should have to begin with.

Verify all the details of your installation
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had copper tubing running to our existing refrigerator. We weren't aware when we purchased this that the installers wouldn't touch any of the plumbing. So the installers basically came in, unboxed the fridge, plugged it in and told us to turn the water back on when they left. When we did this we flooded the kitchen because they hadn't connected the water line to the fridge (thanks guys for not mentioning this little fact)! We were told we had to have a licensed plumber complete the installation or our maintenance agreement wouldn't be valid.

Do not recommend Best Buy for installation.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend Best Buy for installation. It took four appointments, and Best Buy continue to send the wrong team. The fourth appointment, they sent a four-man team to move the refrigerator inside. However, the team did not install it against the wall. Even though they were supposed to. Finally, I had to secure it against the wall by myself. I was still charged $70.

Chaotic , frustrating experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to have 4 of this item delivered before I got 1 that didn’t have a flaw from dents in the side to water dripping from the dispenser. The $250 promised reimbursement ended up being a gift card to Best Buy instead. 3rd party deliverers not customer friendly.

Bad delivery people
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was not told that water needs to be shut off before delivery. Paid a plumber to install. Delivery people just left fridge in the kitchen. Hard time communicating with them. I gave a tip to the driver and told them to split the tip. They must not trust eachother because delivery person texted me after to ask how much the tip was. Very unprofessional.

Noisy little devil
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This ice maker is noisy. Even if you don't plumb it into the water be sure to shut it off. The clunking and grinding is annoying if you aren't using it. Worse if you are.

Leaking/Poor Installation
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The guy who installed said the existing line was good. He hooked it up and I went on a 1 week vacation afterwards. Got home and something is leaking as my kitchen flooring is all bubbled and bulging. I used a fan to keep from mold setting in and am waiting on Best Buy to come and "look at it". All I have to say, is they better replace the flooring at their expense. I turned the water off to the icemaker and water as soon as I saw the flooring. It is taking them 3 weeks before they can get someone out to my house!

Horrible
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’d give negative if I could. Didn’t have the right parts to hook up a water line for the ice maker. Took panel off back to try and rig it up. I had to call customer service to set up a new time for someone to come do it because he couldn’t. Next available time was 10 days away. Was supposed to receive a credit on my card but still haven’t received it.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Movement of refrigerators was good, but they did damage walls and although they did run water to “clear the filter”, the filter wasn’t installed!

Said they had too many stops that day n couldn’t waitWeek later different crew fridge went in fine ..same with double oven n drawer oven .. one crew excellent drawer crew pathetic.. whoever does your customer service should teach the installation department how to run a business..

Significant house and appliance damage.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Significant wall damage in addition to damaging existing freezer. Working with Best Buy insurance. Hopefully they will correct to previous status. I ha enamel trim, which was also gouged. Door to pantry was chipped and significantly smudged. Unit I purchased was also scratched through the enamel in 2 locations. Installers had a tough time of it after it got stuck in the doorway. Have pics, but they won't upload in existing format. Not going to waste any more of my time.

Had To Do It Myself
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy was supposed to set up the new refrigerator, connect the supply line and haul away my old fridge. Well the new refrigerator was too wide to fit through the kitchen door so, the installer suggested that removing the doors would be the only way to get the refrigerator into the kitchen. They apparently didn't have the proper tools for the job because he mentioned the special tool that would be needed to remove the screws and that I would get a refund of the haul away charge. At any rate, I did it myself. A phillips head screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, an allen wrench, an adjustable wrench and thirty minutes was all that was needed.
