Best Buy better shape up on customer service!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply unacceptable delivery/installation service by Best Buy delivery crew- not knowing what to do after installing the refrigerator, failed to level the doors and stating we do not work for Best Buy so call Best Buy! I did numerous times, and still waiting for some knowledgeable crew to return to do the job right! This purchase/delivery/installation was the worst experience that I encountered with Best Buy.

GE Mini Refrigerator

It came without a handle after calling Best Buy. They said they would send me a whole new refrigerator. I said I just need to handle says no they’ll replaced the whole new one. I said it’s very complicated to install they said no problem, they delivered the new refrigerator on April 24 and it came without a handle then after several phone calls, they said I had a purchase a handle separately. The website clearly shows the mini refrigerator with the handle. I spent a lot of time a lot of phone calls and the store manager would not accept my phone calls. I am not happy.

New Floors Scratched

After rescheduling my appointment to move my refrigerator, Best Buy sent out a 3rd party provider from CTSI for the move. Two individuals came and I notified them that we have new floors and to be careful moving the refrigerator. The two individuals decided to slide the refrigerator across the floor which scratched the floor. It was not needed to slide the refrigerator as I already had it out in the hallway for them to lift it out. I am very disappointment in the service and now have to find a way to repair my new floors. I would not recommend this service to anyone and avoid CTSI as they are careless.

Customer NO service

After 2 failed deliveries of 2 damaged refrigerators, oil spilled in front of my home by their delivery truck and 6-8 holes in my walls and no assistance whatsoever, I will say there is nothing positive to say about this experience. On top of all of this, none seems to care. I have been lied to and promised things that never happened by Best Buy and the company they hire to process claims. This has truly been a time consuming nightmare. I had to go to Lowe’s instead for the same exact product. Been a Best Buy client for 20plus years. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED

No installation

I’m not sure if I am doing anything wrong but when the cycle is done the dishes are still wet. During the delivery and installation the installers that delivered came up with an excuse as to reasons why they couldn’t install our dishwasher and refrigerator water line. I was disappointed because I had waited 3 months for the appliance and now I had to pay someone else to come install them. When I called Best Buy the customer rep said that in the notes for that delivery they had stated that we had a contracted that would install the appliances that an installation was no longer needed. My partner and I were in the process of DIY the kitchen and I guess they made an assumption. We did not have a contractor and I never cancelled. This situation cause me stress, money, and time.

Horrible installation -please read

The delivery team showed up on Christmas Eve, a Tuesday. They said they couldn’t install the fridge due to faulty water valve. I posted a picture of our old valve... looks just like the new one. The existing water valve was perfect. Showed a plumber a picture of the valve and he said it was perfectly fine. We had the valve replaced within half an hour, anyway, hoping to get them back to install it. They refused. They just wanted to go home, early. I understand, but when you have a job to do, you have to do it. We didn’t get the fridge installed until Friday, which was 3 days later. Oh, AND they pulled out our old fridge from its space. They also left our new fridge in the living room. So, they left us with a fridge in the middle of the kitchen and another one in the middle of our living room. On Christmas Eve! Horrible experience. Customer service was sympathetic but the damage was already done. Sad that Pacific Sales teamed up with Best Buy. We’ve gone to Pacific Sales for years and they were fantastic until they teamed up with Best Buy. The fridge, itself, is fine. Love the wide shelves in the fridge. Not thrilled with the freezer, as I didn’t think I would be, due to the fact that you have deep bins at the bottom. Stuff just gets piled up. There are two wide, but shallow, drawers above the bins that help to find smaller things. I don’t know how they could create a better design of the freezer but it can be a bit difficult to find stuff. The fridge design is good, though. Overall, happy with purchase. Wish I knew how to redesign freezer.

Delivery OK, but parts missing.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The geek squad rolled my new garage fridge in to its new home with no issues except that the fridge is missing a couple of plastic grommets that cover the holes that enable the handle/door hinged to be swapped left/right. Not sure how they would leave it this way with out acknowledging that something was wrong and needed to be corrected. Worse than that, I have now spent hours on the phone trying to get a hold of someone that can snd me the parts.

Good Product But Poor Delivery

Dented my front door, and scratched the front of my new refrigerator. Left debris from installation, and did not level the new refrigerator. Horrible experience. This worker, were he my employee, would probably be relieved of his duties.

Careless delivery
