Best Buy Geek squad delivery and install of kitchenaid refrigerator/freezer. Delivery required freezer door to be removed to fit through home’s door which was a normal occurrence according to customer service when purchasing refrigerator. Installers either damaged freezer door or did not notice freezer door was damaged upon reinstalling the door oven unit was inside the house. I of course did not notice damage, because I don’t know what to be looking for; I am just the consumer. Freezer now has a 1/4” gap on freezer seal which can only be repaired by replacing entire freezer door. The new freezer door is back-ordered for six weeks and the bad seal causes the motor to run 24/7 and the freezer is rapidly filling up with frost. I am certain this six weeks will either 1) burn up the motor before the unit is repaired, 2) significantly reduce the lifespan of the motor, and/or 3) become unusable because of the frost build up in the freezer.

I ordered the fridge on February 2. The soonest it could be delivered was February 15. I waited all day for my delivery, finally at 630pm I called to make sure it was still getting delivered. I was told the delivery guy slipped on the ice. I questioned why i was never notified, and recieved no answer to that. I was sent a link to reschedule, i rescheduled the delivery however it wouldn't let me schedule the old appliance haul away at the same time. I spent 45 mins waiting for a agent to "chat" with me and was directed to a different agent 4 times. When i finally got someone who could help I had to keep explaining that the old fridge needed to be hauled away in order to receive the new one. The person just couldnt understand why. I finally got them to schedule haul away wth delivery for February 28th. As of that date i was without a fridge for 1 month. February 28th arrives and at 7:55am Alex calls (same guy that allegedly slipped on the ice 2 weeks ago) said that due to an unfortunate incident at his childs school he couldn't deliver my fridge. I absolutely lost it. I questioned why no one else could deliver it. No answer for that either. I called customer service demanding my fridge be delivered that day or tefund me immediately. Without any hesitation the said i would get refunded. I was able to get the same exact fridge fromLowes $200 cheaper and delivered within a week. I will NEVER spend another penny at Best Buy and i have been telling everyone that will listen about my horrible experience.

We just recently purchased a new refrigerator, washer and dryer. Our installers did a fantastic job of hauling away our old appliances and installing and hooking up our new appliances.
