It works, but I didn't like that it's mandatory if you are using the Installed by Best Buy option. Especially if you already have this from your last refrigerator...but whatever.

So the guys showed up on-time and were polite but they had a bit of a hard time getting the fridge through the front door. Instead of taking the doors off, they just spent a few minutes trying to shove it through. They got it through and while the plastic on the fridge was majorly scratched up, there was only actually one tiny scratch towards the side bottom of the fridge when the plastic was peeled off. While carrying it through the house, the waterline got snagged on a doorknob and snapped off. They fixed it for me but of course I wasn't excited about the damage to my fridge as soon as it came into my home. They helped me turn the main water line in the basement off and on to install the waterline. I saw the next day that the delivery guy had opened up the valve again so much that it flooded my basement. I don't know how he didn't notice the water spraying out of the valve when he did it but I suspect he did and just wanted to get out of there before I noticed. To be fair, the valve was pretty corroded but he could have said something to me about the leak when he turned the water back on because it went from a drip the day before (it had been slowly dripping for a long time) to spraying after they left. Luckily my basement is unfinished so really didn't do any damage. I didn't need the metal waterline hose that I bought because I already had one. The delivery guys were supposed to leave it with me but they didn't. That was a process, with lots of confusion between Best Buy the store and the delivery dept., to return later to Best Buy without actually having it (don't feel like going into that one lol). Overall, they showed up and did the job so it does deserve a star or two but it definitely wasn't one of those experiences I would say was delightful, and I am a very easy-going person. I am leaving the "would recommend" as yes because delivery was free and I like shopping at Best Buy in general. I don't know if everyone has the same experience as I did, and what can you expect anyway?
