Water and ice maker not working

What install?

First set of installers wouldn't touch it, said i needed to fix the shut off valve to the water line. They left, I called in a plumber. Plumber fixed the issue and said all they have to do is turn this knob. Second set of installers came and said they wouldn't hook up fridge to water line. I said all you have to do is plug in the water line and turn the knob to the right. They would not do that. I did it myself. Why did I pay for this service?
