The technicians came on time. They were polite and very professional.

I connected my refrigerator to my existing waterline & it was very simple!! It only took a few minutes & it was done!! No complaints here!

I bough the Total Tech package for installation of a suite of Whirlpool appliances (range, over the range microwave with exhaust, dishwasher, refrigerator) to replace some much older appliances. The first team arrived with the range, microwave and dishwasher and did an excellent job even though the old appliances were hard wired or hard piped. When he refrigerator arrived with the second team they refused to install it at first because of a copper water line on the old unit which they said was corroded (it was not but had some hard water deposits on it. I explained to best buy when I purchased the appliances this line was in place and they said it would be no problem and they had a connection to hook up the new water line. The installers had cut the power cord to the old refrigerator which was working and then were going to leave after refusing to bring in the new refrigerator. I called Best Buy to speak to the manager and sales person who had sold me the appliances and asked for the manager of the appliance department to call me back, He did not but the supervisor of the Total Tech team did and assured me the refrigerator would be installed. When they installed it the door on the refrigerator was scratched due to removing the protective covering outside. They did take pictures of the scratched door and said I would be contacted by Best Buy to replace the whole refrigerator or the doors. I waited weeks and was never contacted by anyone. I called the Tech Team to make sure they had reported the incident regarding the scratched doors and they assured me they did. I called Best Buy customer service and was then told that they would replace the scratched door only. I requested that both doors manufactured at the same time be replaced so there was no mismatch in color or finish and the representative refused. I then asked that a supervisor contact me and I was told one would do so within 24 hours. It has been over 4 weeks since that call and no one has bothered to call from Best Buy. The customer service is terrible and the Total Tech Service, at least with this team, was a joke. I could have done the installation of the water line myself.

The installation went well. The guys were friendly and worked fast.

The installer did install my refrigerator; however, they didn't level it or replace the water line; which I was later informed that they are required to do. One refrigerator door closes on its own because it's not leveled. Also, the water line that I purchased was not returned to Best Buy so I was not credited with the return. They just kept it! Please beware and ensure that you get your full service and all products and services that you paid for!
