I bought a new fridge, washer/dryer set with the Bestbuy geek squad service include. I was expecting quick deliver and no frustration installation with their promised professional service but they failed me. It has been 1 week and all appliances were lying in my garage waiting for installation. Meanwhile I have no fridge and dryer available which drive me nuts. Bestbuy told me since I have 3 stories house they need 4 men team for service and installation and I need to tell them exactly which room on which floor I would like to put my appliance in (which I have no options during checkout or service selection from their website). Sure I rescheduled it to the "earliest" possible date for 3 business day later (weekend no service). And I clearly told them which room and which floor I want my appliances to be at. Forward to the rescheduled installation day today. I got a phone call telling me to be prepared for service in the morning between 8am-12pm. I received an email confirming they are on the way and will be around my home at 10am (change subject to traffic status hehe). And at 12:00pm no man shows up. I called the geek squad service again. They told me no service available for me today (are you out of your mind?) because they don't have availability for 4 men. I am seriously let down by you guys. Please do not make promise which you cannot deliver. If I know how bad a Bestbuy geek squad service can be I won't buy it here. I do not have a chance to use my appliance yet. So after when they are up and running I will update my comment here. Although bad impressions were already carved into my mind though. Update: Bestbuy confirm the same day in the afternoon that they can send 4 men installation team to my house 2 days after (07/05 after independence day). I call Bestbuy for confirmation in the evening and got the response that they could not send any 4 men team until 07/25. They will send me a 3 men team for 07/14. What a JOKE. Straight one star for sure. Thank you Bestbuy for your service.

Geek squad did a great job of hooking up my ice maker to the water line. All I had to do was turn the water off and on in the basement.

Installation was competent enough. But imagine my shock when the two gentlemen indicated they were finished without even attaching the door handle of the refrigerator or freezer compartment. Also, the unit was wobbly and they did not seem inclined to address that either. After impressing on them my dissatisfaction, they relented and did what they obviously should have done, attaching the handles and adjusting the footpads. It took a solid 20 minutes, which would have fallen to me. This is not the definition of installation. I am a long-time Best Buy customer, but this is my first installation. I do not envision revisiting the experience.
