The buttons are not as soft and easy to press which makes it hard to control. I was told this would also come with an app that I was never helped to maneuver. I’ve gone to other mechanics and they’ve told me I have paid too much for the low quality I’ve received. It didn’t work well in the winter which was the only purpose of why I had bought it. I don’t recommend. They told me it would stay on for 15 minutes at a time and turn off on its own. This turns off within less than 2 minutes giving my car no time to heat up. Don’t waste your time nor money

After I purchased via Ebay a Viper (3306V) car alarm for my work Van I shopped around for installation prices and chose the cheapest place. NOT always the best choice. Bestbuy installs alarms purchased outside the store, so I made the appt. In May, a one hour slot time appt was rescheduled to July 17th for a four and half hour slotted time. Met a nice worker there who seemed to know about alarms. Handed my alarm unit to him and told him if I needed any additional parts for the back/sliding side doors to just charge me for them. The feature of my alarm read “Viper smart start compatible, Status LED alert light, Failsafe Starter Kill, Doubleguard shock sensor, Six tone siren…” Almost 5 hours later I picked up the Van. After I paid with a 40 dollar tip, he hands me the keys and “says here you go.” I look at him thinking, Isn't he going to show me all the features? Sooo, he quickly showed the simple lock and unlock that engaged the alarm.. I asked him if we can test the additional doors and he said there is no way to do that ( hmmm, did you do the work on those doors or not?). I decided to get out of there but before I left he briefed me that the alarm isn't warrantied but the labor is lifetime warranty.) Great!! Went home for testing and got bad results. Went into the cargo side of the van, closed and set the viper alarm. Manually unlocked the side door from the inside and opened it.. The alarm did not turn on. Did the same in the driver's seat - Alarm did not sound. Looked for the Status LED Light around the dash or window and noticed it was tucked underneath the dash above the brake pedal. That following Wednesday I went back.. And luckily The same person who worked with me was there that day. I questioned him about the Led indicator and the Starter Kill features and he told me Bestbuy does not allow those features to be done. What? Now you're telling me this?. You think he would mention what's not allowed or allowed before the installation,. I basically got an alarm installed with only the shock sensor working. . My Next visit is to see management on July 25th.. Made another appointment for August 14th to see if we can rectify things… Not sure if I should go along with it. Work is guaranteed!!! TO BE CONTINUED
