I had an appointment set up at 12:00 p.m. didn't receive car till 5:30 p.m. was told it would only take 2 and a 1/2 hours also noticed other cars getting work done while mine was in the Bay. They stated my 02 Maxima was a difficult one. Also had another vehicle scheduled for 2:30p.m. didn't receive that one till 6:00 p.m. and stated that one would be ready in 2 and a 1/2 hours also. Don't mind we live an hour away and that's why we have schedules but that didn't matter.. We wasted a whole day with these installations. Overall good product

The service took over an hour and a half, which is kind of time-wasting. I spent the time in the bestbuy store. Would hope that this process can take less time in the future.

Terrible customer service from BestBuy online chat and BB reps at 5001 Northern Blvd, LI City, New York. I scheduled my remote start installation a month and a half after the bought the products. Everything is fine until the day before I get a call from the store to say they have to cancel my appointment and will call back in a couple of weeks to reschedule but I should still pickup the items needed for installation. I pickup the items but problem is that once I picked them up the return period started and the return period would end before my items were to be installed! Not only that but on my purchase section it says the items were installed when I picked them up. I tried contacting customer support via BB app multiple times and they were utterly useless, they just told me to bring in my items to another location and ask for them to install it, they expect me to walk in unscheduled and with no proof ask for a free installation? Makes no sense. So I decided I wanted to return it. Returning it was even more trouble. I went to the nearest BB to return it, first they tell me return period is up when it was not as stated on my account purchase page. Then they tell me after 30 mins that they can only refund me the value for the item and $150 wouldn’t be returned for the remote start installation even though THE ITEM WAS NEVER INSTALLED. So I decide to go back to the original BB store and return it. After wasting another 30 mins they were able to give me full refund—nope. They charged me $10 for the ball bearing tilt switch that came FREE with the remote starter bundle, I don’t need the tilt switch but they can’t accept return on that because that was delivered to my house and the return period expired. Summary: I wasted 2 months trying to get a remote starter installed, they cancelled my installation schedule, took multiple tries and long time to return the items and installation for a refund, still charged me for a free $10 tilt switch, so now I don’t have a remote starter, I’m out of $10, and a whole lot of gas money for having to drive around from store to store. Thanks BB and GeekSquad!
