    Ordered remote starter, we asked at least 5 staffs including sale rep and techs, all said it will work with both our cars, waited about 2 months to have it install we drove an hour to Youngstown location get it install was told they couldn’t install it

    Worst experience I have ever had at Best Buy. I had an remote start installed and from the very first day it caused me much trouble . I bring my car back to fix and issue with the installation which caused my car to malfunction with the door locks unlocking and locking on its own automatically. The technician took an hour just to tell me I had to take my car to the dealer and prove that they did something wrong . Once I left Best Buy my car steering wheel started locking on its own to the point I could not drive my car at all. I spoke with management and there was no remorse or anything just nonchalantly saying prove that they did something wrong. WELL THE DEALER ACTUALLY PROVED THEY MESSED UP MY CAR AND THE DEALER FIXED IT AND BEST BUY HAD TO REIMBURSEMENT ME FOR MY OUT OF POCKET. I HAD THEM UNINSTALL THE REMOTE STARTER AND I AM A VERY UPSET CUSTOMER AFTER ALL THIS INCONVENIENCE ITS JUST RIDICULOUS AND I CANT BELIEVE I HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS

    The installers had my car all day, told me that they had trouble figuring out which wires were which, then i pick up my car and the alarm did not even work. Brought the manager outside and he also tried and saw that the alarm on my car was not going off as it should, told me I will have to bring my car in again. such a waste of time.

    Horrible service! Wanted to cut and hack on my factory wiring after he couldn’t figure out how to make it work. My other vehicle they told me they couldn’t do anything for after I paid for installation and waited over a month for installation. Expected me to travel over 2 hrs away to get service. No way!

    Very poor experience from start to now, still very unhappy to date and I'm unsure how to resolve the problem. Dropped my car off on Sat Nov 20th at 2pm, didn't receive any calls from the store to let me know my car was done. Sunday morning tried to call the store but was directed to the national # where I asked what was going on with my car only to be told this is the national # and that they would email the store and let them know I am waiting on a call. Waited another couple hours before deciding to just drive to the store and see for my self. When I arrived my car was ready and when I asked why nobody called me the response I got was that the tech that did my install was going through divorce and he just left after completing my install. Since then my car has started twice like it is supposed in the first week and hasn't worked since. When I look at the box apparently it comes with a Bluetooth function that needs to be programed to the phone but the techs that helped me out didn't go over any of this and I'm left paying for something that I can't even get to work. Help please!

    Returned to Best Buy 4 times to revise remote start installation. Initially trunk button did not work on new fob; installer claimed they fixed the problem and demonstrated trunk opening. After returning home trunk button on newly installed remote start fob still did not work. Called technician who stated he used old fob to open the trunk. Very shady as I had come in to get new fob working at opening the trunk.. Passenger side door lock was functioning properly prior to installation and now no longer works. Technician states that issue is completely unrelated- uncanny timing. Remote start fob is still malfunctioning but after 4 attempts at going in I no longer have any faith in the technicians to complete the work without ruining the circuitry in my car. Beyond disappointed.

    I never even got the remote start installed. You guys didnt have a date set on any days that worked for me because you had booked those days for five months so i didnt even have you guys do the installment. Took a day off work and then you guys canceled on me..

    If I could give this zero stars, I would. Local best buy failed to properly record my installation appointment. Despite it appearing in my app, the local best buy could not locate it when I arrived on a weekday. When I arrived, they informed me that they only do installs on the weekend due to staffing (despite their hours listing weekdays still), and offered to let me drive over an hour away to another location, or come back in a month and a half on Christmas Eve. I made this appointment in person and received confirmation two weeks prior. Absolutely absurd, and easily the worst customer experience encounter I've had in years.

    Some issues with insulation. I had to go back three times before they finally got it right. What but when I went to a different location they did a good job

    My only complaint is that they didn't give me the operating manual and also i forgot to ask them how do i put the reomte to work on my phone

    Horrible job at installing remote started in my mothers vehicle that was a gift for her for xmas. Leaving exposed wires. Also when my mother went their and asked for a refund Antonio was extremely rude to her. I would never go here again. This place deserves NO STARS, but had to leave one or else I could not submit this review

    Made an appt to have remote starter installed before Xmas as a surprise for my wife. Took the day off work and drove 2 hours to the Best Buy to be told that the tech had called in sick. Couldn’t fit me back in till after New Years so kinda ruined my Xmas surprise to my wife. Just not the same handing her a box rather than telling her phone to start her car which is what I had planned to do Xmas morning. When I picked up the remote starter the tech wouldn’t give me the T-wire harness that I was supposed to get with it because he said it wasn’t needed for installation. Finally got it installed after New Years but took almost 5 hours and that tech said it woulda been easier with the T-wire harness. Shoutout to Caleb Weaver he did an awesome job hooking it up.
