Have to go outside to start the vehicle. Turns off after a short period of time. Not enough time to sufficiently warm up vehicle. Doesn’t work with cars electronic lock and unlock. Have to use physical key to enter vehicle. Not impressed. Waist of money. Only reason 2 stars is because it at the least starts the car.

ABC’s $100 starter is better then this $250 starter.

Remote started mounted wrong caused electrical iss
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The agents connected my remote started wrong, 1st my radio screen was black, then on blurry, I went to Best Buy talked to the store manager who told me “ everything was mounted the right way, it was just my truck was a 2015 an the radio went bad, I asked to take the remote started off and since my car has no electrical issues. The best part is that the manager told me that everything was mounted right before the check my car. What a shame.

Upon arrival to my appointment, it was discovered that not all the proper parts were ordered with my original order. A harness was missed when I bought the product and installation, leaving me having to come back when the part was in to get it installed. Upon arrival to the second appointment, no one told us we had to bring both key fobs to install the remote start. We had to drive an hour home and an hour back to grab it. After install of back up camera, we had to go back a third time due to the camera cutting in and out. We ended up removing that camera and spending another $300 to upgrade it. Needless to say I went to Best Buy for their top notch knowledgeable experts, and the total experience was less than sub par. If it wasn't for the "free" installation for a year, I would have cancelled everything and gone elsewhere.

System only worked one day.

I have called to get it the problem addressed but have gotten the run around. I am very disappointed in this process because it has been since the holidays when I purchased it. And I wanted to utilize it for the cold months and it almost spring. I usually have pretty good experience with BB but this has been very negative experience.

Poor follow through

Showed up at our 11:00 appointment Sunday Nov 27th just to be told that our appointment had been cancelled. No text,no phone call but they said that an email had been sent. I do not check emails that often and this one was sent at 2:30 AM the day of. We were told the auto tech had called in sick and that we would get a call on Monday before 10:00AM. No phone call so I called about 4:00 and left a message, again no call back. So we requested a refund on what we had purchased for the install. Very disappointing.

Something not right.

They told me it would take two hours but started working on my car ten minutes before the two-hour mark so I had to stay for an extra 40 mins.

Unbelievable

He was leaving for the day without letting me know, i caught him just in time but what do i do to connect my phone?

When I arrived for the installation on 1/18, they couldn't install it because they didn't bother to tell me that I needed a wiring harness and they didn't order it or have one in stock. So they wasted my time and now it won't be installed until 2/15...if they don't mess something else up. Not happy.

Damaged my car

They claimed they did not touch the car handle at all, but apparently they opened the top side of the handle box, since it was not shut properly and had issues with my turn signal being stuck and wiper stuck. Geek Squad admits that the damage was their fault, and offered to replace my handle for a used one, which they were going to look for on eBay! Geek squad was not sure what kind of quality they will be able to get, since they have to go search on eBay after I confirm I would like the replace to be done. What a ridiculous solution for a damage caused by them. I called Honda and they mentioned $450 for changing the handle, since it’s a leather handle. I am not sure of other locations, but I will stay away from the Parker, CO Geek Squad.

Dont ever get their installation!

Booked at a store 40 minutes away. They're first appointment was three months out. Waited three months. Was waiting in line at customer service to check in and installation manager cancelled our appointment because he said we were ten minutes late. the ten minutes we were waiting in line to check in. Went back there, their bay was empty and they were playing on their phones. Returned everything and cancelled my geek squad membership, never to return to Best Buy.

Worst Service EVER

When I picked it up parts of ky dashboars ajd steeribg wheel were out of whack and its IMPOSSIBLE to speak with a REAL HUMAN who can help me. Overall extremely disappointed and I'm pretty sure my car which has never had problems before is having issues due to this. And to out this all in perspective. I dont write reviews but had such q bad experience I thought I should. I cant wven get a refund after spending over $600 on two of these.

Geek Squad service? What service?

Ok, I get it. Got a call the DAY BEFORE INSTALL AND WAS TOLD IT WAS CANCELLED! THEY DIDN'T HAVE A TECH TO DO THE JOB! Why did Best Buy wait until the day before to tell me????! Now they tell me I have to schedule another appointment at a different store and wait for that appointment. I did. My wife DRIVES 1 HR TO THE STORE FOR INSTALLL, and Best Buys SENDS HER AWAY SAYING THAT THERE WASN'T ENOUGH TIME TO DO HER INSTALL BEFORE THE NEXT APPOINTMENT COMING IN! This is absolutely pathetic. I will never, EVER recommend Best Buys or their service department. Anyone I meet will certainly here this story. You can't make this stuff up. It's so sad that it's laughable now.

Now I ordered my remote start for my daughter’s Christmas present a month ago and received my product but had to wait the usual 3 weeks for install. No problem. But then 4 days before my appointment they call and cancel. It can happen but when they say the best they could do to reschedule they gave me a date in February????shouldn’t there be a way they could squeeze me in before that since they canceled on me?? Ridiculous!!!! Not happy with my Best Buy this year. Complete failure on 2 issues in one week and there is no one higher up that can help me.
