    I never had issues with my installs on remote start which I’ve had at least 5 installed in the last 2 years. Now I ordered my remote start for my daughter’s Christmas present a month ago and received my product but had to wait the usual 3 weeks for install. No problem. But then 4 days before my appointment they call and cancel. It can happen but when they say the best they could do to reschedule they gave me a date in February????shouldn’t there be a way they could squeeze me in before that since they canceled on me?? Ridiculous!!!! Not happy with my Best Buy this year. Complete failure on 2 issues in one week and there is no one higher up that can help me.

    This was the worst customer service I ever had from the Greenwood store and the corporate office. I purchased this remote start for my son over a month ago for Christmas his install was scheduled tomorrow morning at 7 AM but we were called yesterday and told we would have to come and pick up the unit from the Greenwood store and drive it to Muncie Indiana over an hour away if we wanted it installed. There was no compensation my son had to take a day off of work drive an hour up thereAnd an hour back with no compensation from the store at all. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever seen and I work in customer service I will make sure I never shop with this company again and I will tell everyone about the situation

    I purchased a car alarm but weeks passed and there was no one available to install it so I returned it. Why sell them if they dont have anyone who can install it?

    I made an appointment to get my remote starter installed at the Beat Buy at Perimeter in Atlanta, GA. Everything was all downhill from there! About 2 weeks after the install, it poured down and I was unable to use my windshield wipers. I called the corporate office and was told to take my vehicle to the location and no appointment was needed. When I arrived, I was told it would be a 6 hour wait before my car could be seen. After an hour conversation, my car was finally inspected, the original technician did not properly align the steering mount. That error stopped my windshield from working. I am still dealing with this issue as it was a temporary fix of a major problem. I still need this problem resolve

    The installation took two hours longer than it was supposed to. When asking for updates they stated it would just be a little longer. Was worst experience for any installation I've had.

    when I picked up my truck after install it was idling rough .I told the tech about it and he swore to me that it was like that when dropped it off and he had nothing to do with how it idled . I know my truck and there was no problem with it and the write up he did on it before install all was signed off as good .i left there and went to auto zone to have it put on the code reader .it came back as a fuel problem . I went back the next day ( it was late before closing when they were done so I had to go back the next day ) now I'm loosing 2 days of work (install on my work truck) and found out the install tech hooked up the wires to the top of the fuel injector and didn't plug it back in properly EVEN though he said he didn't have anything to do with the fuel then the lies .so no I don't think ill go back !

    We were told when we arrived the installation team was running about a half hour behind. Car was finished 2 hours after original estimates time. The starter works, but the separate remote door locks that were working when we dropped the car off no longer work. Techs claim they never worked?

    Install went fine but they messed up the wiring and my cars auto headlights stay on forever and kill the battery when the remote turns the car off. Not satisfied

    I had a remote start installed in my Dodge Durango a the Decatur location. I tried to have my car smogged and the tech said it wouln't read. I took it to the shop, where I have an extended warranty on my car. They said that the people (Geek Squad) who installed my remote start jimmy rigged the cords and cut into my electrical system!! It's not covered by the warranty and I have to pay to fix their mistake! They also left dirty rages and a bottle of solution that spilled in the back of my car. I never thought Best Buy would have techs like this working for them.

    The appointment took 5+ hours for the 2 hours installation appointment. Few warning lights stay on dashboard. Tech asked me to take vehicle to dealer to reset. At the end, store offered me a small discount for the inconvenience.

    not compatiable with the vehicle i bought it for and was exchanged for compustar by bestbuy without even telling me. said that there parts and service and hard to deal with. And then had to have the compustar remote removed because it drained the battery and wouldnt start. Said it was because it was a toyota but it could have been many things, even the techs installing it. But then the they only refunded me 201.39 instead of 317.99 and im still dealing with a headache after this purchase. AVOID if you own a toyota or have any of your electronics installed by bestbuy i guess. BEEN DEALING WITH MESS SINCE CHRISTMAS

    So upset with Oakdale Best Buy Installation team and management! Bought remote start in October, First available appointment for installation was November. They installed it, then called for pick up. When we got there they needed another part/key. Only the next available appointment wouldn’t be until January. We were told there was no other time to get it done even though it would only take 10 minutes to a half hour. We opted to have it pulled out and they had to schedule that out also!! Unbelievable. Nor did Management seem to care at all. Tech’s were good, just believed their scheduling needs to improve! 3 months to install??!!

    Did not get the service performed. Drove for 45 minutes, to be informed that the appointment that I had made weeks prior, would not be honored. Two technicians were rude, very unprofessional.

    Nah. Installers don’t know how to do their job. Some locations may but mine didn’t. Lost a lot of time and money and patience. Letting others know.

    They did not have the T harness for the installation so my confirmed installation got pushed back 5 weeks. Even worse, they gave the uninstalled car starter to my son (It is a Christmas gift) and he is expected to go back to best buy in mid January. This will be days before the 45 day return window has expired. I called BestBuy and explained that the unit is scheduled to be installed a couple of days before the 45-day return window is closed and they will not help. Terrible customer service from geek squad and it hasn't even been installed yet.

    The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Purchased everything needed as directed from Best Buy sales and scheduled an appointment a month out. The night before my appointment I was called and told this Best Buy doesn’t have the skill set to do the install required.. absolutely embarrassing and a total waste of my time.
