Bought this because one of the bestbuy costumer service guy told it will fit my car but It didn't, had to returned

I purchased two Compustar remote starters for installation...the first install, this one at the Green Bay store, went perfectly! MIke and his team called me twice before install to go over pre-install info. They were very professional, went over all details of the install, and advised that the install would be under 2 hours (online estimate was 3.5 hrs!). The vehicle was ready as they had told me and went over all product use info! A++++ install Mike and Green Bay team!

They got the job done, but was told 3-4 hours took about 6 hours and not a very comfortable waiting area.

Very sensitive. The car will start on it own quite frequently

The remote for the trunk is not working. Except that it is ok. The technicians are nice.

The product is ok. However sometimes the car start itself even you dont press the start button.

Don't even bother if you don't have a high speed internet. If you do the product is great

Recommended for purchase like these even if you think you don’t need it

We ordered this deal in December. It arrived in a timely manner. However, this is the middle of February and we are still trying to get it installed. The stores in my area use one installer for 2 stores apparently and catching an open date is near impossible. We finally caved and set one for the end of March. When you buy a product with in-house installation included, you don't expect to have to wait 4 months to get it installed. Happy to review system when and if we get it in the car but for now the customer service end of this deal is pretty pitiful.

I've tried to schedule the installation for the remote starter I purchased. I waited between 10-15 minutes before someone answered. They were a central scheduling, and didn't know the schedules of Boulder or Longmont. They asked who I wanted to check first. Boulder is closest to me, so went with that. Got disconnected. Called back, waited another 10-15 mins, again asked for Boulder. Again, got disconnected. Called back. Asked for the person to take down my number; they said they already had it on caller ID. Asked why I didn't get called back the previous two times I was disconnected? They said they didn't know. Asked to be connected to Longmont this time. Got through to Longmont, and they said their software was down; that I'd get a call back that day. That was yesterday, and still nothing. Total PITA.

As mentioned above. The model would not work with my vehicle.

The product itself is probably fine, but it was not correctly and fully installed so it does not work. I live over an hour away and have not been able to get there to get it reinstalled correctly. Therefore, I paid for an automatic start and I start my car in the cold every morning. Not cool.

Solid product, but the wait time for installation was far too long.

Its worth for the money that we paid.Geek squad support is awesome.
