Nice economical filter that works perfectly in the GE Profile refrigerator. I have purchased this filter over the years and love the clean fresh water taste. It eliminates the need to purchase bottle water, while still providing clean filter water. I always buy my filters at Best Buy, because they are conveniently located and avoids the need to purchase online and wait for delivery.

Tried a generic filter and it didn't work at all. This filter works and water taste good but just a bit expensive

We have had our GE Refrigerator for 16 years and it just keeps going. The water filter is fantastic and the taste quality is superb. They suggest replacing the filter every 6 months, but we replace it closer to once a year. We use the filtered water a lot each day, and you can tell when you need to replace the filter, the water pressure slows down, but the water quality remains the same.

What else can I say! It fits my fridge and was easy to install and works great!

We recently had to replace the filter in our fridge with on of these. They work very well, and make the water taste great. I just wish they weren't so expensive.

We've used these (or their predecessors) for 15 years in our GE fridge. It really does improve the water taste, and reduces scale in our electric teakettle. The GE one claims to filter out certain common pharmaceuticals from water supplies, whereas some of the store brands don't make that claim--I can't speak for, that, but probably a good thing.

This actual GE filter isn't widely available at brick/mortar stores so I've been purchasing alternative MWF filters made by other orgs. I found this on Best Buy website and it was 15% off so I purchased. The alternatives are cheaper, bigger and the water seemingly shoots out much quicker but I oddly feel more confident in the water quality from this GE filter. Probably just perception and not actually reality but I trust the GE quality processes more than no name filter.

It was very easy to snap in. it must be an OEM replacement filter. A little pricy.

The only problem I have with this filter is the price, too expensive compared to other filters, other than price, I like the drinking water it produces..
