    The real GE filter is good quality and works well. The water tastes much better, and the filter seems to outperform substitute brands. It is expensive though. Would be nice if GE would bring down the price.

    This filter reduces the most contaminants from my drinking water. Beware of after-market filters, they are not as effective.

    Not much to tell here. Works as described and Best Buy has them in stock every time I need one. I do recommend buying 2 at a time. Usually there are only 1-2 in stock and they should be replaced every 6 months.
