Always use the samsung filter. I bought a generic one and it woild spill water everytime it was used.

As per Samsung one should change this filter after every six months but in my house (A family of three)it doesn't last even that much and the water starts tasting bad before that.

indicator on refrigerator . needed to replace filter. Kept the empty box from last time and Best Buy clerk went and got a new one before I even reached the counter.

I have tried other “compatible”, less expensive brands but had problems removing them. Consequently I prefer the true Samsung filter.

This is an expensive item but I previously tried a compatible and it was a disaster. Need to stick with the real thing but comparison shop for price or ask for a price match.

Did not replace our filter when light came on. Refrigerator stopped making ice. You have to replace the filter when the light comes on. A little on the expensive side.

These things are overpriced especially when you consider that you have no choice but to buy them when they're worn out. But at least you had them in stock! Unlike Home Depot.

About Ever 6 months, my Samsung fridge tells me it’s time for a new filter. I have tried knock offs with mixed success. These work every time.

We have been purchasing this product from Best Buy since we purchased a new refrigerator. We have checked other stores and Best Buy always has the product in stock and at a good price.

Every 6 months the refrigerator filter has to be changed . It is very expensive but I use my rewards points with my payment.

This is my first time purchasing this filter. I went to four other stores to find this filter, prior to going to Best Buy. The product works well and I like the price at Best Buy.

This product works exactly as expected. Very good filtering and taste. Never leaks or have had a problem with them. This is the eigth filter I have purchased and have had no problems.

I always buy the water filters for my fridge at Best Buy and only one time the filter was defective, the water tasted weird, but I got it replaced without any problems.

Expensive to change every 6 mos or so and hard to tell if the filter is actually wearing and needs replacement after 5+ months or it is simply a timing heads up to change it

I used to purchase the generic versions of this filter to save money. But they did not last very long. This filter lasts for 6 months and we drink a lot of water.

I usually use my BB points to purchase a filter for my fridge when the points are about to expire. No expiration date to worry about, and I will always need the filter!

It seems to do what it is supposed to do. My wife tastes a noticeable difference in our water. Me , not so much
