    getting a water filter is a bit of a leap of faith. you don't really know if it's doing much if your water already tastes fine and is clear. this filter was easy to replace and makes my clear tasteless water clear and tasteless. if i someday have access to a lab that could test my water, I will provide samples before and after filtration. until then, i'll just have to have faith.

    I have been using this brand and really satisfied with the quality. I bought off brand items and I tasted something weird. This one just make sure you run/ dump the 1st liter and ready to go.

    Walked into Best buy and asked a guy where to find the refrigerator water filters. Turns out, he was a Samsung rep. He pointed out the filter to buy and told me not to buy the cheap ones - they don't always fit, and they tend to crack. I've read that a lot of people have those problems. This filter fit great, just a little snug.
