Turns out, he was a Samsung rep. He pointed out the filter to buy and told me not to buy the cheap ones - they don't always fit, and they tend to crack. I've read that a lot of people have those problems. This filter fit great, just a little snug.

Highly recommended don’t buy off brand

I bought off brand items and I tasted something weird. This one just make sure you run/ dump the 1st liter and ready to go.

Long lasting & produces great tasting water

Our tap water has a very strong chlorine taste so I know as soon as it needs changing. We drink a lot of water & I'm pretty sure we would spend a lot more if we bought jug filters or bottled water. It's very easy to exchange the new one.
