The Filter was the Samsung branded filter. I had trouble in the past fitting the filter in the holder, since I was told by Samsung that there was a slight manufacturing change. The filter I purchased at Best Buy went in smoothly.

I fell for the 6months trick. Barely used the refrigerator water dispenser and “I had to change” the filter. I should have just reset it. The product itself does what is supposed to do.

We buy it regularly because its safe & convenient! Cant trust water bottles anymore

Had to clear off top shelf and water dripped when removing old filter. was difficult for me to remove old filter but like the taste of the filtered water. 1st time to change maybe next time will be easier

This is a great product as recommended by the manufacturer. I ventured away once and bought a less expensive generic one and was not totally satisfied. Have been buying this replacement filter ever since without problems.

My water has never tasted bad from my refrig so I assume it's working good. A bit expensive to replace every 6 months so I usually go closer to a year. I'm not a heavy user of the water/ice feature.

I tried buying a less expensive filter on line and ended up with a flood in my fridge from a filter that was promised to but did not fit. I immediately returned it and went back to old faithful Best Buy and a brand name product.

Perfect for my Samsung fridge. Instructions are clear and works good.

We bought this as our filter needed to be replaced. Thought it would be a quick switch but took a long time. When it says light force to install, it really means heavy force. Hopefully it will be easier next time.

No issues except for the little difficultly in installing and removing from refrigerator, Also issue with being able to reach the installation location inside the refrigerator especially for short people.

Generally speaking the water filter does a great job. Water is clearer with no aftertaste you can sometimes get. The price is about $50 after tax and it only lasts 6 months or so. I would love if they could make it last longer for that cost.

Very pleased with the Samsung refrigerator and this filter is the necessary system for specific model. Seems like you do receive a filter warning in a short amount of time but perhaps because we use this ice system and water system frequently.

We tried the no name brands and the wife could not stand the taste of the water. We went back to the Samsung filter and have not strayed since. Best Buy always has it in stock and is very competitive on the pricing.

Glad to find this necessary filter available in stock for my refrigerator after not finding it in another store.

I would recommend this filter to all my friends and family that own a Samsung fridge. I just wish the filter would last a longer period, but I think it may be my county water that causes it to not last as long as I think it should last.

I am so pleased with this filter! Without it, I wouldn't be able to dispense water from our refrigerator. Now I can. An indispensable product! However, I can only give it 4 out of 5 stars because, well, it's just a water filter.

Was in a pinch and needed the filter but I normally buy it online for cheaper elsewhere. So I went to the source where I got my refrigerator from originally.

Excellent price and product. I have used this product in the past and I have been pleased with the results. I will continue to purchase this filter in the future for my Samsung refrigerator.
