    I just purchase these replacements for our Samsung fridge. I can actually tell a difference in the taste of water when I use a "fresh" filter compared to an old filter... So I guess these things do their jobs.

    Perfect fit... Bought a Samsung and the light changed to pink then red which indicates a replacement is necessary. Got the Samaung at Best Buy and got the replacement there as well.

    I think that customers who purchase appliances (major) should get a price break on the accessories (ie filters) needed to maintain the quality of the unit. I think that you could market this perk and benefit to faithful customers.

    My Samsung refrigerator requires that I replace the water filter after a certain amount of use. But the cost is rather expensive. So this is just a necessary maintenance expense of owning a Samsung water-filtering refrigerator.

    We've tried bargain brands, but our water starts tasting musty long before its time to change the filter. We had to go back to the very expensive name brand … kind of feel like we're being held hostage.

    These filters work great. Granted, they are the only ones that fit the refrigerator, but with as bad as our local water is, there have been no problems with these filters lasting their minimum life plus.

    Little higher compared to off-brand filters, but does its job. Replaced a no-name filter that did not do its job, but the Samsung one does. More money upfront but at least it works as advertised.

    I bought this filter because my refrigerator filter indicator light went on and I was not disappointed. After replacing the filter, I reset the indicator light and began drinking clean filtered water.

    What can I say. You trapped into buying expensive filters or going with unfiltered water. Cheaper attempts at filters don't work.

      About the water filter in your Samsung Refrigerator.

      Replacing the water filter in your fridge helps keep your water tasting fresh and helps to prevent odors. Your Family Hub panel will notify you when it’s time to change it, which is about every 6 months. First make sure you purchase a genuine Samsung filter made specifically for your fridge model. You can find replacements on Samsung.com. When you’re ready to replace it, turn off the water line to the fridge, drain the waterline by running the dispenser, and then turn the old filter counterclockwise to pull it out. After you insert the new filter, turn it clockwise to lock it in place, and then turn your water valve back on. All that’s left is to run the water for a few minutes to flush it and reset the replace filter alert on your fridge.
