Great at a cost

I'd rather be safe than sorry, so I go with a filter manufactured by the same company. Basically, it does as it says and the water tastes great, but the price could stand to be a bit more reasonable.

About the water filter in your Samsung Refrigerator.
Replacing the water filter in your fridge helps keep your water tasting fresh and helps to prevent odors. Your Family Hub panel will notify you when it’s time to change it, which is about every 6 months. First make sure you purchase a genuine Samsung filter made specifically for your fridge model. You can find replacements on Samsung.com. When you’re ready to replace it, turn off the water line to the fridge, drain the waterline by running the dispenser, and then turn the old filter counterclockwise to pull it out. After you insert the new filter, turn it clockwise to lock it in place, and then turn your water valve back on. All that’s left is to run the water for a few minutes to flush it and reset the replace filter alert on your fridge.

Wells now days may not be as pristine as we wish they were, especially with people using as many chemicals as they do, like roundup and lawn fertilizers and bug killers. We hope people wake up to the fact one day that everything we use goes in the ground and in our water. Go away Dow, and Clark. We DONT need you!

Actually it's the best filter I've seen for removing even sulfur, but crazy expensive - especially considering they want you to change it every 4-6 months. We had our last one for 4 years and it still removed the sulfur smell... I just replaced it because I thought 4 years was long enough. Ultimately, I wish our whole house filter would remove the smell, but as long as our ice and drinking water are ok, I'm fine with the cost.
