I love Resident Evil movies and video games and i really like this movie a lot because it is based everytime more into the video games, great special efects and 3D slow motion, this is how 3D movie should be, yyyyeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhh

It did not end happily, so let's see what happens in the next installment. I hope they don't try to replace Milla She is the best part of it.

I love Milla Jovovich, always have, and it has been fun watching her acting career over the years. That said, the Resident Evil movies have been on a downward spiral since the first. The first was great, a lot like the game with a ton of references. I mean, sure it's a little campy, but it should be, the problem is the series just keep ratcheting that factor up with each subsequent release. I will say the fact they used actors for the zombies instead of goofy looking CGI like the disaster that was "I Am Legend" made for a much more engrossing film. Don't get me wrong, the story and acting in "I Am Legend" was fantastic, the CGI bad guys however... oh man. The problem is as the "Resident Evil" series has gone on, the story has become more and more over the top. I mean, let's face it, this is a shoot em up zombie flick and those generally don't rank too high on the art scale, even with a good amount of budget and a great director. I love the genre, I even enjoy watching a bad zombie flick from time to time, and this is one of them. Overall, a zombie flick loaded with cheap thrills and big budget movie look. Not great, but not terrible, it's worth a $10 purchase, but I do lament paying full price.

Theyve done a pretty good job of bringing all of the Resident Evil movies together. I accidentally watched one out of order but everything still made sense and I didnt feel like I was totally lost.

I have a 58" Magnolia 3D Samsung, playing the movie through the PS3 (which is 3D now via the Fall update) with the active shutter glasses, surround sound, the whole shebang. Depth was there, but I buy 3D movies to have stuff "POP OUT OF THE SCREEN" There was maybe like one scene that that happened on. As far as depth, yes I did see depth in a few great action scenes. The story line was fine and the movie was fine. There was a nice amount of action and some good slow mo scenes. However it lacked the "pop out of the screen" 3D effects. I hope this helps BUY ON REGULAR BLU-RAY

I don't care for the resident Evil series of movies but what I did like in this one was the mix of 3D, the depth and the popouts (out of screen moments) this is a movie I will be watching again and again. Way better than Retribution.

It was good for a 3D action but they added stuff in from the game story line and did not explain how this happened and those who have played the whole game series knows what I'm talking about.

Entertaining movie, especially if you're a fan of the series. Just don't expect anything great from it. Great picture and sound quality as expected from a Bluray movie. Harmless fun.

This was my first 3D look at the Resident Evil series. I really enjoyed the special efforts that went into the pop outs and 3D effects.

Love the video games and was very excited when the movies started to come out. However, the movies are starting to get a little old.

One of the best 3d movie i have seen and the picture looks real good.

This has all the good action scenes from beginning to end. Great script for the film. If you love the series

Just OK....I would rate it as a Rental....The 3D stuff was pretty cool....I only bought it to try out my new 3D Bluray....

I have been a fan of the RE series since the PS1, movies and all. Didn't see this in the theater, but heard good things about the 3D. Thought this purchase was a no brainer. Should have waited for the reviews. I would have just rented it on demand & saved the rest of the cash. The storyline doesn't flow as well as it could, and certain plot points leave you asking WHY? did they go that route with the story? Plus, if you haven't kept up with the anime/video games/last movies, you may be a little lost. Maybe 2 whoa/wow moments throughout whole movie. Lastly, the 3D was very disappointing. So far my problem with 3D is content and those heavy AH! 3D glasses. I can't recommend this to purchase, and I love Mila J.!

Love seeing the Resident Evil Blu Rays pop up on sale! They are much needed in my collection. Keep it up Best Buy ;)

This is a great movie and sets up for another one to follow. I love this series of Resident Evil films. Alice is fantastic!!!

This is one of the best movies filmed in 3d. Even at 2d it is great

Looks amazing on 4K UHD. Sony does not disappoint when it comes to 4K discs.

Great 3D - action sequences are also pretty good. Cheesy moments but 3D filters it. Plot was okay but needs to progress more... It's like the director/story writers have nothing in store until the cliffhanger then decides "that's what we will be writing about in the next movie."

this is a great the 3d in this movie is great we enjoyed this movie very much and would recommend it
