This is not a very good movie, the story is weak and the action is been there seen that.

This movie was okay only for the visuals. The overall theme is becoming a bit tiresome.

Soooo cheesy. Of all the movies in the series this is the worst.

i bought this during a B1G1 Free week at $9.99 so paying $5 was a steal for the 3D/2D DVD combo set, however the 3D quality isnt as good as the previous Resident Evil 3D movie and the movie ltself wasnt as good either

Resident Evil: Retribution is the fifth installment in the successfull Resident Evil series. The film picks up where Resident Evil: Afterlife left off. Alice, now captured by the Umbrella Corporation, must escape and make her away across a series of sequences after learning that the human race faces total extinction under the hands of the Red Queen, who is now under complete control of Umbrella. Partnering with Wesker and newcomers Ada Wong and Leon S. Kennedy, Alice must reach the rest of the team before the underwater Umbrella facility implodes, losing all hope for the survival of the human race. The Blu-ray audio and picture quality is beyond amazing. The storyline is also great, considering that it sets up the rest of the story that is to unravel in Resident Evil 6 & 7 (the final films in the series). My only complaint is that it feels too short. Other than that, it is highly recommended.

I purchased this mainly for the 3D effects and was not disappointed. From start to finish the special effects keeps your interest. The movie lacks in the plot however being predictable and unrealistic fight scenes (I know, it's a movie and should just take for the entertainment value). I also found it had too much of a "video game" feel to it (realizing it is based off a video game). Overall, if you are looking for some good 3D, you'll find it here...

I think that "Resident Evil: Retribution" was once again one of the greatest "Resident Evil" films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite "Resident Evil" films of all-time. I also think that "Resident Evil: Retribution" had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and horror including a really great and amazing cast and storylines as well.

As far as the Resident Evil movies go, here's another great movie if you got time to kill. Really just bought the movie cuz I started out buying the series with the original movie and I'm a completist. So if you've seen the other movie, you'll know this is the story of Alice (Milla Jovovich) as she battles the Umbrella corporation and in a dystopic future when zombies and mutants have taken over the world, who really cares about the story cuz it pales in comparison with the depth of the games. This is really an action-packed movie that you use for distraction from you normal everyday life, not scary at all even though there's zombies. So come for the action, ignore the plot, and enjoy it for what it is.

this is the best one of the series since the apocalypse that isn't saying much but its fun and action packed so its not a bad time

Resident Evil retribution is a great film. Now if you're looking for a horror movie that makes jump out of your seat, this is not the movie for you. But if all you are looking for is action then i highly recommend this movie.

Good movie overall. Video game on a stick that's good enough to watch and keep the series rolling. Mila is a rockstar.
