If you go to watch it looking for something different don't. Since I had watched all the others might as well see the last one. ( I hope). The effects are ok, nothing out of this world.

As a fan of the series, my expectations were high for the final movie, unfortunately I thought the whole movie was fractured in its plot and never achieved the goodness of the first.

As with most RE movies, this one continues to tank with all the rest. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Resident Evil franchise fan, but the movies aren't cutting it for me. The title of this film is deceiving, as the plot seems to imply otherwise. Not to mention, the camera work and filming of this movie was VERY CHOPPY. All the action scenes have been cut terribly and you find yourself getting lost in the rapid scene transitions rather than fully appreciating the action scene.... You'll get nauseous watching this... trust me.
