Charging Cable Doesn't Work

I had to dig around for my cable I use at home for it to work. I have an iPhone 6s Plus. It's going back tonight.

Stopped working after 5 months

Bought this at Best Buy before Christmas. I am always very gentle with my things but today the button wont register when I push it. Thing won't work if the button isn't pushed. Now I have to push it with Superman-strength to get it to come on. Sometimes I can get it to come on, sometimes I can't. Just a matter of time before it stops working entirely :(
