One of our cars has a 120v outlet in the backseat. I used it all the time to keep my work laptop chugging along on our frequent seven hour road trips to see family. Then I got a new car. It never occurred to me to check that it had an outlet to handle the laptop. Oops. Enter the world of adapters. I need a reliable 60 watts to charge the laptop. Most car USB-C adapters are 32 or 24. That’s a no-go for being able to keep me working through a trip. The higher wattage units are expensive. This one is not. I admit I don’t use the USB-A port, not because it doesn’t work. I just have no use for USB-A anymore. Everything has gone to C. Including the cable is a nice touch, and makes it a one stop solution for my situation. Please note—this will not arbitrarily charge all laptops. Some need more power. You’ll need to know your requirements and test the adapter before you rely on it as a charging solution for your laptop model. It WILL charge tablets and smartphones with no trouble at all. Build quality is high and feels substantial.

This Rexing vehicle quick charger is sleek and powerful. The 78 combined watts of power will quickly charge your device and have you always at full power when you leave your car. The design is really nice and fits easily even into my charger port that is inside a covered compartment. It accepts 12-24 volt input. The charger feels very durable- not like cheap plastic that I would be concerned would break after a few pluggings and unpluggings. The included double-ended USB-C cord is plenty long enough to reach comfortably anywhere you would need to use your device. The C connectors are very tight and well-fitting, so you do not have to worry about your device coming accidentally unplugged. There is an available USB-A 3.0 output if you need that for your particular device. The charger has built-in chip control and provides multiple levels of protection against issues like short-circuit, overcharging, voltage surge, and high temperatures. I would highly recommend this little powerhouse to anyone.
