Night vision did not work at all. I purchased these three weeks before my husbands birthday so we could not return to Best Buy for a refund. Beware of 15 day return window.

It was shipped in a no-name brand box, no company logo, cheap light plastic item that didn’t work. I took it back to Best Buy and said there must of been a shipping mistake. The associate even agreed that it didn’t look like a Best Buy item. Alll it said was made in China. Didn’t even have a bar code. So weird and disappointing.

The field of view is limited to the two ocular lenses but that is inherent in night vision binoculars. Using it for extended periods of time will strain the eyes due to the brightness of the viewer.

I tried to photograph and record some wildlife and that was a real waste. On the other than hand the IR works great and you can certainly see even in total darkness.
