Great if you have a Tesla charger but a non-Tesla Vehicle.

Picked this up for my Zero FX motorcycle and already plugged it into a destination charger while dropping off an Amazon return at Whole Foods. Who doesn't love free electrons?

Got this for my Jeep wrangler 4xe and its real easy to connect to my husbands Tesla charger at home. Comes with a little case to fit in the glove box.

Build quality is great and works well with my IONIQ 5 charging with Tesla level 2 charging stations or below.

It works like it’s supposed to, but the little lock at the bottom broke with the first use.

Havent actually had the chance to use this thing yet, but im happy jist to have it in case it's needed.

Avoid this product. Adaptor stopped charging 1 day after return window ended. After going back and forth, it took 30+ days to get a replacement. That is after they wanted to repair it. They took a deposit for the exchange to get a replacement. In the process they sent me the wrong item. Now they have no record of the return label being used. I had to produce proof. In summary avoid all Rexing products

Not compatible with ev charger. Tried charging marche with this charger but did not worked.

Considering the NACS is quickly becoming the standard, having this adapter on hand is a good future-proofing plan for my fellow EV havers. The build quality is impressive. Solid metal and extremely sturdy. Given it has a pretty good warranty, especially if you register it, it's well worth the cost. It comes with a locking mechanism so the adapter itself will stay locked to your vehicle's dock. If you happen to lose the key or accidentally lock the key in your car, you will still be able to disconnect the NACS charger from the adapter, however, the adapter will stay connected to your car until you unlock it from the dock. Although, It does come with four keys so you have great chances of always having access to at least one key. The adapter comes in a carrying case that can be easily tucked into your empty spare tire space (my fellow Bolt owners know what I'm talking about). And speaking of my fellow Bolt owners, the charging speeds aren't that great, but we're used to that haha.  Getting it all set up and charging is straightforward as well. Simple and works like a charm! Definitely recommend. 

This is a very well-made charger adapter as it should be due to the voltage it needs to be able to carry constantly. I was impressed by the included case and the quality is very good. The footprint is very small and takes up very little space in my backpack or glove boot. It's so handy to have a charge adapter for my electric motorcycle that allows for charging at Tesla charging stations. The fitment is perfect and everything has charged up smoothly to date. This is a must have to open up your electric vehicle re-charging options while on a long trip. Having his in my kit has definitely allowed me to take much longer trips a this greatly reduces range range anxiety when you know you can use Telsa Charging stations in addition to your electric vehicle manufacturer's stations along your route. I feel like the build quality is better than the OEM charger heads and adpters and would recommend this adapter for anyone with a electrtic vehicle that has a J1772 port. Removing the plug adapter is just as easy once you disengage the port clip it pops off easily.

As you surely know if you’re reading reviews for this product, Tesla utilizes a proprietary electric car charging connector for its vehicles. All non-specialty, consumer-grade chargers other than Tesla use a standard connector. You’ll find these standard connectors (J1772) in everything from Porsche Taycans to Nissan Leafs to Jeep 4xe models. The standard connector is the one you get from the Juicebox and ChargePoint chargers that are ubiquitous in every suburban household and most public charging stations. So what is the point of this adapter? Tesla’s charging network is (at least in my area of the northeast) much more vast and thoughtfully rolled out with plenty of options all over. Please note that this adapter won’t work on the Supercharger, just the standard Tesla charger. Another situation this would work in is for a family that perhaps bought their first electric car - a Tesla - years ago and has since purchased another brand to replace or add on to the current vehicle. This adapter allows them to save from requiring an electrician to come replace the existing charger or install another. It snaps on and comes off very easily. In my case, I keep it in my non-Tesla EV trunk for peace of mind that if I need to charge, I can do so on almost any charger. When these adapters first came out, they were $150 and I couldn’t justify the cost. They’ve come down in price a lot and are now an invaluable piece of kit for the EV crowd. Happy driving!
